“...Politics ain’t beanbag.”

Right- I think that’s precisely what the author is trying to convey to what he perceives as spineless Pubs.

Stick a fork in him, he’s done.

I suspect that within 72 hours he will throw in the towel..... unless he’s willing to put his wife through even more hell.

“Maybe he was a weak candidate but no one really stood up for him”

Excuse me, but a LOT of us have stood up for him, only to be told that he’s not suitable because he took too many seconds to answer a question, or because he didn’t have enough campaign workers, or because he didn’t know some crap about Libya.

However your analogy of a “circular firing squad” is dead on target, if we’re still allowed to say that.

This is a primary and in the end there will only be one candidate standing, but until then we could let the primary process work at the ballot box rather than trying to eliminate candidates through the media.

Its funny how sexual harassment is the crime which needs never be proven. Regardless of the character or personal history of the accusers, one is judged guilty if several ‘confirm’ the story. How hard is it to hire a common hooker to stage such a story? And why not four or five - if that’s what it takes?

Where are the pictures on TMZ?

You dont find it odd that Cain hasn’t sued any of these women for defamation?

Not odd at all.

As a public figure, Cain has virtually no chance of winning such a suit. Filing suit would be a fool's errand.

What a load of whiny crap. Thanks for showing us what the “real conservatives” are thinking. if this is it, they’re thinking they are still in third grade.

Then you belong in kindergarten.

Cain's accusers have no evidence, no substance.....most have financial troubles and lawsuits throughout their lives.......but a genius like you allows the left to destroy Palin, Cain, etc without blinking.

YOU are the tool of the left.

>"Conservatives deserve to lose because they’re the stupidest people on earth and let the candidates that are electable get chewed up and spit out by the MSM."

I fully agree.

These "debates" should be used to ATTACK the ENEMEDIA. Not each other.

It's way past time for our "representatives" to ask the enemedia a few questions about themselves, and their lack of inquisitiveness about many subjects!

So that the media and Democrats can accuse him of "engaging in the politics of personal destruction?"

See how the spin would be?

Let’s hear it for the left wing media and the establishment republicans!!! No matter how much the so called conservative voters say, “We will not let the liberal media and the establishment republicans pick our candidates” they’re letting the liberal media and establishment republicans do just that.

Bingo. Not to mention, five years ago Cain was looking at terminal cancer and an early greeting from his Maker. Are we truly going to let the media brainwash us into believing that after surgery and chemotherapy he had the strength and ambition to act the part of a lecher? And that he was able to do so undetected under the eye of a doting family fearful for his health? Cain told us flat out eye to eye that he had no such skeletons in his closet. I believe him. He's the current front runner among the genuine Tea Party candidates. If he drops out, my support falls to the next Tea Party candidate in line -- and that is not Romney or Perry or Gingrich. This time around I'm voting for someone that actually represents me, even if it means writing someone in. Period.

Buddy Roemer (R) former Governor of Louisiana was just on Cavuto. Apparently he is/was running for POTUS but has been ignored - so he’s thinking of running 3rd party - if he can find a Democrat for the ticket.

Didn’t catch the name of the Party he is creating.

Strange days indeed.

But don't fuss at me (article author) for being cautious in a place where there seems to be not only a lot of smoke but flames also appearing.

YOU are the problem with thinking like that.

They created plenty of smoke around Palin. Dolts believe all sorts of lies about her because the left was successful in destroying her.

The left knows we will run from the least hint of impropriety.....that is why they did this.

All I can say is that Soros' money is working its magic on plenty of weak-minded FReepers.

Which candidate do you support, then? This should be interesting...but you have no clue, so don’t bother answering.

I support Newt Gingrich. Last I checked, he knows where Libya is, wouldn't release terrorists to Al Qaeda, would have more than "cheat sheets" insofar as all non-economic issues. In other words, Newt wouldn't need on-the-job training.

Two things.

I don’t want the msm and liberals to make a fool of me.

But neither do I want Herman Cain to make a fool of me.

Waiting and hoping it’s not true but seriously, if his own attorney won’t deny these charges... Call me concerned. I donated a lot to him and supported him through it all. So far.

It appears the author is Alfonzo Rachel, not “Editorial.”

I don’t agree with his take, anyway. Cain has thrown himself under the train, pretty much from the beginning.

The train has run out of steam and Herman is planning his exit as we speak. He just wanted to see how far he could get with faking it.

Plenty of FReepers demonstrated their stupidity in throwing Cain under the bus multiple times.

Until people stop treating politics like a sporting event, we will continuously suffer stupidity.

Conservatives are so frightened of themselves it sickens me.
