I understand that marriages can be complicated. People who are living estranged sometimes don’t wish to divorce and arrangemnts are made. I suppose I could have lived with that if he were forthright about it.

But if he cheated for over a decade, then he lied to me. To us. He swears he did “nothing wrong. “. To
Most of us adultery is wrong.

Also, if he thought he could get away with this, his judgment is too impaired to be our President.

Still hoping it isn’t true.

Who says he won’t. I know that L. Lin Wood has an investigative team working on this.

Sadly I’ve come to the conclusion that there is really only 1 party..........the Progressive Party. It has 2 factions; Republican and Democrat.

What we need is a true Second Party.

Yes, those are the issues on which Cain failed. Actually it started with his ignorance of separation of church and state, when he opposed the mosque being built in Tennessee. His comments were truly cringe-worthy.

You need to read this:

From a well-known Cain volunteer:

“I was on a conference call at 11:15am this morning with Herman Cain himself, where he explained to us that, once again, the accusations against him are COMPLETELY FALSE. He ALSO explained that he is NOT considering dropping out of the campaign, despite what the media is reporting. The campaign is moving forward as planned. Additionally, he shared that Ginger White WAS a friend of his (and his wife’s) and she was a struggling unemployed single mom who received several eviction notices due to being unable to pay her rent. So being the good man that he is, Mr. Cain helped her out financially as a FRIEND, as he has done for other friends in the past.”

When asked what the reassessment was about - Winne replied, “I was on the call, I did not hear the words “REASSESS THE CAMPAIGN”, I heard, ‘we need to assess the situation (the damage) over the next couple of days and continue to MOVE FORWARD.’ He said NOTHING about considering to drop out. He didn’t even INSINUATE it.”

and this:

Former Business Partner: Ginger White Never Mentioned Herman Cain

Those are so exactly my thoughts that I am wondering if you are a mindreader!!! Well stated. I have been saying this same thing since the “story” broke.

I believe in Cain. It is just so obvious that only thing that is TRUE from any of this is that someone desperately wants him out of the race and will stop at nothing to accomplish that. If they fear him so much, then he is the person we need in the whitehouse. I’m going to donate to his campaign again (for the 3rd time).

LOL. You support the true “Conservative? in the race then, huh? You are definitely an “informed” voter then, huh? So, does Newt now realize that man made global warming doesn’t exist? Or, do we need to educate him about being a Conservative?

We all know that the Democrats have tons of money to toss around, and they will do anything to win this election. So did these gals who were “molested” make a few bucks for their story to the press? That has to be tempting.

Cain’s accusers have no evidence, no substance.....most have financial troubles and lawsuits throughout their lives.......but a genius like you allows the left to destroy Palin, Cain, etc without blinking.”

The trouble is, we don't want to get caught defending a guy who turns out to be a scum.

Mark Sanford was the poster-boy for this problem. Since that unfortunate fiasco, it's almost like we expect our candidates to be filthy and the merest whiff of it, true or otherwise, sends us running.

The difference between conservatives and liberals is that we really, really, REALLY dislike looking like hypocrites. The left has no problem with it at all.

With regard to Mr. Cain, I'll continue to support him until one of these accusers presents actual proof that he did something vile. To this point, not one of them has.

Time for me to open my checkbook again as well. We FReepers know that "you are over the target when you are taking flak". Cain is obviously taking heavy flak. I'm pleased to rally around him.

So why do “true conservatives” now flock to Newt, instead of to Michelle Bachmann or Rick Santorum?

Or is that particular constituency that has migrated from Palin to Perry to Cain to Gingrich, something other than conservative?

Funny, I was a big Sanford fan. But, here’s the thing.

When my time comes, and I look the Lord in the face, and He asks why I supported a candidate that had broken faith with his wife- I could say with total honestly that the alternative was to vote for atheists.

One reason that conservative Cain supporters like me are willing to let him go is that we realize that we’re less likely to have Romney as the nominee if we have only one viable conservative running. I know Gingrich has his faults to we purists, but he’s a conservative on most issues, even if an impaired one.

Basically, if Gingrich isn’t fully conservative, at least he’s a real Republican, unlike Romney.
