Dr. Alveda King will be discussing Herman Cain in the last half hour of Hannity’s radio show. Now that you’ve heard the leftist media, listen to her.

Yeh right...That’s like telling Monica to give Bubba’s attorneys the infamous blue dress.

Funny how with physical evidence (DNA on the dress), the MSM glossed over Clinton's behaviour--and the crimes afterward.

Funny how without any physical evidence, they keep attacking Cain.

Newt or Mittens is next.

MSNBC was already detailing Romney's flip-flops, calling that a "20 year road to conservatism". (Musta been a dead end, 'cause he didn't make it.)

Suppose her phone records show calls/texts during *only* that one four-month period and nothing else during the other twelve years and eight months. Would that prove or disprove her allegations of a 13-year affair?

Wonderful story. Of course, Cain hasn't said that, and he would know.

OK DTxAg, people have asked you questions and you refuse to answer. Instead you throw out lame distractions.

I will ask one simple question (I posed this to Beagle earlier and he conveniently ignored it):

Why do you have such a zeal to participate in calumny?

Your response will be appreciated, or your silence will speak volumes.

Cain himself said that his wife didn’t know he was friends with this woman or that he has been helping her out with “month-to-month” expenses. I don’t know how he explained this to his wife, but maybe he should offer the same explanation to his supporters.

Good! I’m sure Herm will share the records with the public when he gets them!

Why do you have such a zeal to participate in calumny?

I have to admit, you made me go to a dictionary on this one. I have already said (either here or elsewhere) that I don't know if the charges are true or not, and I have not said Cain was guilty of these charges.

But, I'm sick to death of this whole "poor ol' Herman Cain can't defend himself because he doesn't know what evidence the other side has." Cain knows darn well what he said to her in his texts, and he knows darn well what he said to her in his emails and phone calls. Nothing's stopping him from releasing his emails to or from her. Nothing's stopping him from showing any texts he has. Nothing's stopping him from explaining who called who or who texted who at 2:30 in the morning and why. Nothing's stopping him from contacting the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead and asking for all invoices in his name and releasing them (and proclaiming that there are no champagne dinners or breakfasts for two).

Yes, it is impossible to prove definitively that he did not have an affair. But surely it is possible to release some evidence showing he's innocent, that his text messages/emails were harmless, that he stayed at that hotel infrequently, etc. How far does he need to fall in the polls before someone says "well gee, maybe simply declaring your innocence isn't enough"?

And I'm sorry, this is my own personal opinion, but demanding to know what evidence the other side has without releasing your own strikes me as "I want to deny this, but I need to know how much they know."

Thank you. I disagree with your opinion on this matter, but I do appreciate that you responded to my question.

I hope you understand why I will stand by Mr. Cain who I believe is a good man slandered.

Of course. I don't begrudge anyone their opinion, as long as they are willing to back it up.

Cain hasn't said what? What did I say Cain said that Cain didn't say? I simply speculated on what her phone records (those she *didn't* share with the media) would show.

Why do you seem so intent that Cain go down? Who benefits from Cain being destroyed? Conservatives or Statists?

If the accusations against Cain ARE false and he packs it in and decides NOT to run then Cain isn't who I thought he was.

If the accusations are NOT true he should DEFINITELY fight through them whatever it takes.

Exactly right. You are SPECULATING and trying to concoct a scenario to explain why Cain is innocent. But the guy who actually knows how many times they called/texted/etc. isn't saying what you are speculating. Do you honestly think that if Cain only talked to this woman for 4 months, he wouldn't mention that after being accused of a 13-year affair? As I told someone else last night, I don't know if the accusations are true or not, but Cain can provide some evidence that this woman's story isn't true, even if his evidence can never definitively prove a negative. There is absolutely nothing to stop Cain from saying he never or rarely called and texted her for 12 & 2/3 of those 13 years. He isn't saying that.

while I like Herman and hate to see him taken out this way, your post reminds of 2 possibilities.

Herman is, either, guilty of “something” here

or

Herman is incompetent in dealing with this crisis - has surrounded himself with an incompetent staff - and if they can’t handle this, how can they handle really important presidential stuff?
