Seems a bit much to go to the other side of the world to find a Republican that’s not acting quite right.

Why is this news? I must be missing something. MSM thinks this is super important because Johnson is (wait for it...) a Republican.

And what is the crime? Nothing apparent. I don't even see a scandal here. There's clearly a family issue to work out, but I don't see why this is a news story.

Time 'fess up. Who amongst us hasn't engaged in this activity at least once in our lives?
Are you talking about just engaging in lesbian like activities?

Sounds like a great gig if one can pull it off.

So the guy is a sperm donor? Big whoop. It certainly seems more natural than all the people who are capable of having their own children but adopt Third World babies. We have some of those in government, too.

The article tries to tie his donations to a bunch of lesbians.
If he was answering specific ads by lesbians and he's promoting himself as a traditional family values guy, he might have an election problem but not a criminal problem.

I am married to the most beautiful woman in the world, Johnson told reporter David Fisher. When I married her I knew we couldnt have any more children. She had a hysterectomy 10 years ago. There is nothing my wife would want to give me more in the world than a child of my own. There is no other subject about which men can get more creative about rationalizing.

Your answer as to why this is news is in the second sentence.
He is a Republican.
It only took two sentences to say that. Were he a Democrat it would have never been a news story

It appears that he likes Madame Palm and her five daughters over the real deal. Oh well.

After reading this i’m surprised it wasn’t put in the title.
Maybe it’s the media’s attempt to make it look like it’s not biased by putting it in the second sentence ;)
