Nuclear Newt. Not a pretty picture.
I know I am a noob and such but what has happened to FR ? Some supporting this class warfare language, supporting VA federal lawsuits, what is happening here ? Multiple affairs, no problem. It goes on and on very confusing these days at FR.
agreed! I find it laughable that Mitt supporters are crying foul today- only day one of Newt’s payback. Wait Mitsies, and Paulbots both- it’s gonna be a long week capped by a national debate for all to see. I for one can’t wait. Bring it on Newt, it’s about time you respond to the Romneypack baloney.
Oh yeah. Perry the genuine, humble, conservative, states rights candidate.
Newt is a snob, elite, progressive (border line liberal) and a class warfare bomb throwing whiny, angry old grand pa.
Hyperbole.
Whom are you supporting, is it Romney??
FReepers have “fallen” in love this season with “debate bomb throwers”. Newt turned out to be the best at it.
Sad.
Don't hold back. Tell us how you really feel.
“The unlike some people part isnt stated, merely implied
The clown reporter admits that is not what Newt said so he twist Newts words. I can’t believe the irresponsible comments in this thread bashing Newt for something he did not say. GO NEWT! Then again maybe the Newt bashers in this thread got their marching orders from McCain today.
Then where did that Tiffany line of credit come from, Salamander?
Freddie Newt may not be rich with money, but he is rich with morals and rich with great friends in DC and Tiffanys.
**make Romneys personal wealth an issue**
What else can we do to throw out Romney?
Can't type the answer here. Same for the POTUS.
1.6 mil? Do you know the difference between gross and net?
You're just being silly.
Everyone knows a New Hamster home is so much better than a gerbils home.
Look at this poor gerbil bass-terd.
That's another inference, this time not from the blog author, but from you. Here is what he actually said, replying to the question if he would buy a house in certain [probably very expensive] area of NH:
Asked by a local reporter if he would buy a home in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, where Romney has a summer home, Gingrich replied, "No, I can't afford things like that, I'm not rich." His wife, Callista, added ... "We have one home,"
I don't see any "resentment" at all (implied or direct) of Mitt or the "rich" in general in this answer.
The author of the blog and you want to see it in Newt, so you see it. Your opinion is colored by bias against Newt, hence the projection and the inference.
It does not matter who he is referring to.
That's another false inference - what makes you think that he referred this particular direct answer to a direct question to anyone in particular or to the "rich" in general? He was speaking of himself and his ability to finance a purchase of a house in a certain price range.
Now, here's what he actually said about Mitt - again, direct answer to direct question:
When asked why he chose to congratulate Santorum and not Romney on his caucus success, the former House speaker said, "I find it amazing the news media continues to say [Romney's] the most electable Republican when he can't even break out of his own party.
The fact is, Gov. Romney in the end has a very limited appeal in conservative party."
Any problems with just connecting answers and questions, without inferring, implying, putting words in Newt's mouth and thoughts in his head?
Physician, heal thyself
Rather, we want a Conservative in the debate who is not afraid to tell ZERO to his face that he is responsible for the mess we are in.
Go Newt!!! This is the debate we want to see. Zero vs NEWT ... full steam ahead.
What's your beef with an honest answer?
Good. Free market at its most efficient. As a "conservative" you should rejoice. He's obviously worth at least 50 times more than you will be the rest of your blighted life.
Can’t wait for the next debate. That $20 million ad campaign is just about to get paid in full.
Pray for America
