"The TRUTH IS.....There is NO REAL CONSERVATIVE candidate running for the Republicans!"

You got that right.

Gingrich had his conservatism surgically removed in 1998. Santorum is a social conservative, and lately talks tough on foreign policy but his Senatorial voting record is pro-union, anti-business, and a lot of pro-'big government votes.

The others never had it.

As long as they think romney is winning, no one is going to endorse anyone that isn’t romney.

That is not it, the ignorance here, is the woman has a job as a talking head on fox, what value would her comments have if she supported someone. Answer none! She will support whoever the winner is.

Push her to reconsider. Don’t waste your time getting her to endorse any of the current crop, except for maybe Santorum. Emphasis on the maybe.

Who are you talking about? Palin is a paid talking head on fox? I don’t have television so I wouldn’t know. But I think this thread is not about Palin only, and obviously the comment you responded to was not about Palin only.

>>WTF would they endorse Gingrich over Santorum?<<

Because Santorum would never carry the moderates? Because Santorum will be eviscerated by the MSM and Obama? Because Santorum may well be the right conservative but he’s too far right to be elected by today’s America?

The citizens of this country have fallen away from the true principles this country was established on. There is no way the citizens of this country will allow themselves to be forced to the right like Santorum wants to do. In order for this country to turn back to the principles this country was founded on needs to be done in an orderly fashion using the small amount of agreement still left for what this country was founded on and building from there. Gingrich embodies the right mix to begin that trend back. Santorum would be to much of a shock and would be rejected by the majority in this country.

WTF would they endorse Gingrich over Santorum? That’s retarded.

Ignoring your "retarded" throw away line...

They both have a record of being about 90% conservative.

It would be wise to rally around one of them.

Gingrich is the better more articulate speaker.

You do not have a tv, ok.. She, Palin, works for fox news and she does comment on several shows there. If she endorsed anyone she would lose value to the shows. I have no doubt, she signed a contract saying she would not endorse anyone.

Hah!

One, Sarah Palin won’t endorse and neither will Rush.

Two, if they did they would probably endorse Rick Perry, he’s the best candidate with the most governing experience and the least baggage.

A reasonable argument, but I think you misspelled Romney. Never seem it spelled ‘Gingrich’.
By the way, I gave up strategic voting a while ago. Since my vote is unlikely to be the deciding factor I Figure I should just vote for whoever I like best. It's much simpler.

I don’t think so. Santorum’s numbers will fade fast after NH and SC. No way will Mitt last through SC. I still believe that a majority will realize that neither Romney nor Santorum will have enough support nationwide. In particular the Tea Party believers need to take a lesson from ’08 and realize that are too far right are not at this point in history going to be appealing to the majority of voters. The descent into what America has become didn’t happen over night and neither will the turn around.

That may be idealistic and feel good strategy but the strategy of the left is “incrementalism” and if we don’t learn from their example we will not move towards what we know is the strength of this nation.

I suspect Palin has her own agenda here (no slight intended)

*****

I suspect the same. I don't know what she might have in mind, but I'm sure we're going to enjoy it!

Too early to tell. But I'm sure she's got something up her sleeve!

You waited to join ‘til 2010; is that why you are cynical? All that aside, if your statement is true (not agreeing that it is however), it would be because the cocktail/hi-ball crowd that runs the GOP never ardently stood up for them day after day after day and went after the radicalism of the Demcraps. The GOP leadership in Congress suffers from a near terminal case of wimpitis. The spokespersons that tell it like it is are relegated to the back benches of the GOP hierarchy.
