I am the only ex-mormon in my all-mormon family and they are all voting lockstep for Romney. And if you ask them why, his being a mormon is never mentioned. BS and obfuscation to the last, like I'm the stranger on the street they need to convince that they all think for themselves.

If Romney weren't in the picture, and BHO announced he had converted to LDS, at least 80% of mormons would vote for him without hesitation.

It is a big deal in the sense that BYU is a religious school sending students for a political campaign rally AND the SLC lds have been denying any connection to promoting Romney as their candidate.
There are historical and current references to “the White Horse Prophecy” that only a mormon (a saint) can restore the Constitution - just something to think about.

In my lds family ALL of them are supporting Romney. When I lay out his liberal record, it does not matter.
My uncle said all of that is true but he is lds.
lds vote for Romney at a rate of 94%.
