I’m not sure who said it... It might have been General Patton. But I remember the saying that in wartime and if the French are your ‘allies’, then it was better to have them in front of you than let them have ‘your back’.
I grieves me to say it but when it come to Israel and this President and this administration, the Israelis do well to remember this saying. Just replace the French with the U.S.

No, because of his concluding remarks to the effect that Israel will do whatever is necessary to its own defense. This to me means that he's not depending on the Obozo for anything.
