“Karl Rove and Mitt Romney, et al, loathe conservatism and loathe the tea party and took it upon themselves to use their money and connections to destroy nearly every one of our conservative tea party candidates while pushing their big government RINOS. That makes them the enemy. I will not reward that betrayal by giving them my support or my vote.”

Maybe some of the “Republican” libtards we’ve been talking to may wake up. I am not hopefull.

Ummm...cool

How about no Obama?

Civil wars can be very useful but eventually going after the smaller demons pales in comparison to aiming your fire at Satan himself.

JimRob, I have been an admirer of yours for more than 13 years (under a different screen name)but in this case, I must say that the defeat and imprisonment of BHO is of the first priority.

I thoroughly dislike Rombomney, and will work against him until such time as he becomes the nominee of the Republican establishment. Then, only as a last resort, I will verrrrrry reluctantly vote R in every race in every office. The key to saving our country is removing the thugocracy now in power. With Rombomney in the WH, at least we will have a bit of respit from it, and if we can replace several more Demo-commies (and more than a few lib/wishy-washy R's) down ballot, it is possible that Willard can be dragged kicking and screaming to the right.

If not, my own 50 years of being a registered Republican, and my membership as a R Committee member are over, and I will support an appropriate Conservative political party and candidates, wherever they come from.

The representative republic of the United States cannot last under another four years of Obama, and your total rejection of an alternative, however foul smelling will help our 223 years of Constitutionally mandated protections of our individual God given rights be wantonly destroyed.

God help us, it seems we Freepers can't help ourselves!

Just speculatin', mind you, but if everyone who SAYS or SAID they would write in Palin if romney won stole the nomination, she would actually win.

Practically everyone I know has repeated this over and over, so WHY can't we make it happen? We have the time. If we organize now....there is no telling what miracles might happen. We the People are not defeated yet. The question is, will we fight? Or will we throw up our hands in exasperation and frustration without even trying?

Clear enough Jim. God bless you for remaining TRUE to your convictions!

I am seeing some of the “Christian” websites begin to kiss up to Romney like onenewsnow.com. For example, in thier front page column titled “Santorum - Romney’s ‘bridge’?” -

They have this professor from Regent University by the name of Dr. Charles Dunn saying:

“Mitt Romney’s Achilles heel is with the evangelical vote,” states Dunn. “Santorum has it; Romney doesn’t. To unify the Republican Party, the first thing [Romney] must do ... is get the evangelical vote. The bridge to the evangelical vote is Rick Santorum.”

These people act as though the convictions of a Christian is something that can be brokered by them. I didn’t support Santorum for Vice President, a cabinet position or a prime slot at the convention.

As I commented there, Rick lost the Senate partly because he angered conservatives by backing Specter over Pat Toomey. I have been a Santorum supporter throughout this race but if he backs Romney over Newt - I will never support him again.

As I wrote this afternoon - it would be SO EASY to give in once again - like I did several years ago when sitting with a room full of Christian Republicans here in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida who argued AGAINST ME that “Foley might be a homosexual, but he’s OUR homosexual.”

I’m not making this up. Christian Republicans fought me just as some do now regarding Romney - contending that “Foley’s seat is too valuable to risk” - despite knowing that he was pro-abortion and his deviant behavior was known to many throughout the Republican circles of PB County.

My argument was that we as Christians have an OBLIGATION to stand for potential Republican replacements to Foley. What kind of faith do we have if we think our God is too small and too powerless for us NOT to compromise by turning against the commands in His word?

The result of the ongoing Foley compromise -as we know- is that WE WERE HANDED OVER TO OUR ENEMIES AND WE LOST OUR MAJORITIES IN THE HOUSE SENATE AND THE WHITEHOUSE.

This primary is an opportunity to get it right and learn from our mistakes. We do not have to nominate an unacceptable candidate. If conservatives can fight in this “4th quarter”, a brokered convention could bring about an acceptable candidate to ALL sides of the GOP. I will not comply with those people again.

The nomination of Willard Mitt Romney is political suicide and is every bit as wrong as supporting Foley was. If Romney is afforded the prize of his insatiable lust for the sake of legacy, we will be as successful as the builders of Babel.

Sincerely,

Publius321

I hear you and would like to be with you...but talk isn’t enough anymore.

If we are going to make a difference and have any meaningful influence, we will need to unite to carry our messages outside of FR...to media sources like local newspapers, sites like FB, Twitter and beyond.
And that will take organization, pooling of talents and a very real action plan.

The only other options are violent rebellion, a third party candidate or impeachment of the whole administration. All seem unlikely to succeed and the first will likely plunge us into open fascism.

We can not afford a second Obama term and helping Romney win might be the only way to stop that. Obama makes Clinton and Carter look like patriots.

If no third party candidates get close, I say let the Rino win or we seriously might not make it to the next election. I'm all ears but see no other options, Jim...

As we get closer to the general election and Romney’s campaign rhetoric shifts further leftward per his natural inclinations, I wonder how our nose-holding brethren are going to feel about their ever-faithful GOP vote. Better yet, what further contortions they will resort to in an effort to convince us how wrong we are to hold to our conservative principles.

I guess this is one of those issues that folks will simply not agree on. There are reasons why many of us are going to bite the bullet and vote for Romney, just as their are reasons/convictions of those who will not. Things will play out as they will.

God help our nation.

I don't like Romney.

But I will pull the lever against Obama because I do not want to see Moochelle's triumphant face on TV for another 4 long years.

LOOK, If you want to beat the GOPe, you have to STOP voting for them. It's not about finding the right conservative candidate. It's about taking the party AWAY from the GOPe.

Without strong, engaged, conservative, voters, GOPe CAN'T WIN! They can't pass anything in Congress either.

We have the power RIGHT NOW! We just have to show them that we are willing USE it.

The argument of “If you don't vote for Romney, what, are you gonna vote for Obama?” NO! You write in a protest vote for Palin, Allen West, Newt, etc. Vote R for Congress, Governor, etc. YOU DON'T VOTE FOR ROMNEY.

“But Obama will win” News Flash..... He's gonna win anyway!
Romney is a loser. BROKEN ARROW!!! It's our only hope.

Maybe Sarah or Newt can still save us, but in no case will I vote for Bob John Romney AGAIN!
