Morsi (or Mursi, seen it spelled both ways) recently fired all the generals and replaced them with MB generals. Or at least more radical Islamic type generals who will be on the MB side. So I’d say that the Egyptian military is more or less run by the MB, from my very limited non-expert understanding.
This should have been the Jihad Watch link, it basically quoted the Israel National News article, by accident I posted the wrong link:
I realized yours was (hopefully just) sarcasm, the real article is bad enough.
I hope you are correct. With the freak in the WH and his muzzie handlers, I don’t feel positive about this.
I’ve been considering these things for a long time. In fact I wish I could set aside such thoughts for a while but can’t seem to.
But when I read articles like this I get way beyond disgusted all over again.
Thanks for the links. More to read.
They sacked the old leadership and offered them a retirement package they could not refuse. Muslim Brotherhood is Egypt now and Egypt will be Obama's Iran.
yes, I did but thanks for making sure. I think I posted it somewhere, or saw iton Anti-Mullah in the Netty News, Possibly on another thread on FR
So much happening
I know what you mean. Information overload on overdrive.
And knowing more doesn’t necessarily help one sleep well, think clearly, or have a happy day.
While he might have some ideas, the Pentagon has other ideas, and they are there, and he is not.
I once knew an Army Captain who was one of only five such unit commanders in all of Europe. The five of them met together every now and then to discuss their wartime role, if it came to that.
For a long time, they were very annoyed that the official doctrine coming out of their branch headquarters was poorly thought out and even irrational, mathematically impossible. Then one of them realized that the five of them were, in effect, entirely in charge of policy in Europe, so in wartime, they could do what they wanted to do and entirely ignore doctrine.
But this concept applies to many soldiers. They are the ones in the field, risking their lives. So if some overpaid bureaucrats order them to do something stupid, they are under no great obligation to do so.
Liberals and leftists don’t grasp this at all. They stupidly think that military personnel are ignorant minimum wage employees who joined the military because they were too dumb to work flipping hamburgers, and will just do what they are told, by anyone in authority.
This is a very unwise attitude.
