“Samuel Moore “Sam” Walton (March 29, 1918 April 5, 1992)
Democrats still soliciting the dead for donations and votes.”
It's S.(Samuel) Robeson (”Rob”) Walton, Sam's son, who is now chairman of WalMart. And, as others have said, it's just one more reason for me to avoid shopping there.

Silly to pee away a million dollars, I guess if you’re a billionaire you run out of things to spend money on. Maybe I can buy a president for a million dollars....
If people who cared enough to vote with their dollars boycotted Walmart, I doubt that they would notice. I don’t think enough people give a damn.
Rahm Emanuel might have a change of heart in letting them in Chicago?

Remember, those ‘exemptions’ are good only for a year, on a year-to-year basis.
Pay up, or we might not grant that waiver again.................

Samuel Moore "Sam" Walton (March 29, 1918 April 5, 1992) Democrats still soliciting the dead for donations and votes.
S. Rob Walton (Samuel Robson Walton) is the current chairman, a son of Sam Walton. So "Sam Walton" could very well have made a donation.

Sam’s family didn’t want to run the business, just spend the money, so they turned it over to a pack of MBA’s. This is some of the expected results.

There are two Samuel R Walton.
S. Robson Walton is the chairman of Walmart and is known to be a big contributor to the Republican party.
His son, Samuel R Walton is a bit of a dilettante and contributed to Obama in 2008.
I think the WashTimes screwed the pooch on this one.

I cant help but wonder what the father would say today? Probably something along the lines of what is in the brackets in the title of this post!

Rich people vote for Democrats. Get over it. Nothing you can do.

My Primary Care Physician (a research/teaching internist at a leading teaching hospital) tells me, as the nation's largest employer, Walmart had a very large seat at the ObamaCare design table. 'nuff said.
To: SoFloFreeper
My first thought was “Sam Walton is dead.”
Apparently this donation was made by his son ‘Rob’ or Samuel Robson Walton who took over when his father died.
Hey, that makes him the “Son of Sam!”
To: SoFloFreeper
I would boycott Wal-Mart, but we already don’t shop there. Well, I have purchased ammo at one from time to time.... and we do camp for free in there parking lots when traveling. LOL
