I agree with you. Why would an operator expose himself to the extent necessary to operate a GLD if he didn’t think there was something aloft to hit the target he was designating? It makes no sense.
How credible is the “targets were being painted” information? I do not know its source. It seems to have shown up on the internet about 90 minutes ago.

I’m trying to advocate on some large forums like Facebook, in some places where thousands would see my posts. I don’t want to make this statement unless there’s some evidence. Saying “Oh, I read on this conservative forum that a blogger said it was reported on Fox,” is not going to persuade anybody.

I don’t think the person in that picture is Stevens. Look at the hairline on Stevens and compare it to that of the individual in the right-hand picture. Also, the latter person looks to be heavier than the Ambassador.

And much more than just 4 Americans (don’t get me wrong, just one American is one too many) would be in the news.
I'm guessing if there is a U.S. Consulate under a terrorist attack and your ROE just leaves Americans to die you had better rethink that ROE. And since Benghazi is a hotbed for radicals islamites, just kill them all.
