Communist revolutions MUST be violent.
It’s a requirement, and I’m not being facetious.

You don’t build an awesome police state and not use it!

“The conclusion that the 2,717 Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles are for the Department of Homeland Security is false. Instead, they are part of a contract award to the US Navy and will be subsequently used by the United States Marine Corps.

A search for M67854-07-D-5032 at the Federal Procurement Data System reveals that all contract under this number are for the United States Navy.”

Including the delivery and pricing schedule itself:

Note SH 2 mentions the MRAP vehicle.

But, conspiracy theorists will be conspiracy theorists ...

I wonder if anything like those Panzerfausts ever “fall off the truck?”

MRAPS are made by BAE Systems and Navistar Defense. BAE makes the RG Series MRAPS. Navistar makes the MaxPro MRAP.
I used to work for BAE Systems on the MRAP, JLTV, and NLOS Cannon Programs. Ours were made in Sealy TX. Navistar makes theirs in West Point MS.

...mason jar ...

John Ross wrote of embedding a lighter flint (remember those little red things about the size of a grain of rice in the yellow plastic holder?) in the tip of a 22LR bullet - spark at a distance.

Have to try it myself one day.

It works right well. However, I notice that my local Wal-Mart no longer has the flints offered at the checkout counters.

Some of the older *armbrust launchers [which fired a countercharge of vinyl streamers and could thereby be fired from an enclosed room] have indeed a*fallen off the truck* at BATUS in Medicine Hat. Nice little units. On the other hand, the original WWII Panzerfaust 60 design is simple and effective, and easy to copy.

These are the MRAPs that DHS is getting. You might want to do some work with this pic, too:

What is the vehicle nomenclature/derivation/history for the DHS/SRT MRAPs? Who had them first? What was their original mission requirement? Might be interesting to know.

Reminds me of the scene in “Mars Attacks” where the martian is carrying around the translator, killing everyone, while the translator squawks out “we come in peace! we come in peace!”.
