It wasn’t Nostradamus. It was St. Malachy.
I hope the new Pope is politically and theologically conservative.
That’s why I put “social justice” in quotes. I too hope he knows the difference. It’s a huge issue. Will he support the left, or oppose them.
0bama’s father was African, doesn’t that make 0bama a Kenyan president who was raised in Indonesia?
“Argentina. From the Latin Argentum — “silver”.
Silver is a metal, dug out of rocky mines.
Malachy said that the last Pope would be Peter.
Peter comes from the Latin Petrus — “rock”
Rock in a mineral.
The man from Argentina is the man from minerals/rocks.

LOL!
Lanny Davis must be thrilled.
Habemus Pappam Ping!
Argentina is a European country in Latin America.
Most of its population are descended from Spanish, Italian and English immigrants.
Most Latin American countries are mestizo population but Argentina is of European stock.
Yes, Papa Francisco I.
He is indeed the very first Argentine to be elected Pope. I saw Pope John Paul II when I was stationed in Buenos Aires. There are an awful lot of Italo-Argentines there and I’m sure they’re all over the moon.
There is some negative aspects of the Jesuits as well. Very much into undoing the reformation.
So what are the negative aspects?
Argentina is a country in South America. There is no such thing as Latin America.
Yes the Southern Cone countries tend to have a far larger Caucasian population than the rest of Latin America, but it’s still a part of the region.
It’s like quibbling about Timothy Dolan’s ethnic Irish ancestry if he was elected Pope.
I am so happy.
Sad and happy.
The old pope, the new pope...
I am very happy.
all of the Cardinals who know anything are up in age.
“Theyre [Argentina] a majority Caucasian country deriving from descendents of European immigrants, just like the United States.”
And they elected a socialist government, just like the United States!
Furthermore, they had one of the most prosperous economies in the world, until it was strangled by government regulation, just like...uh-oh.
Happy to oblige: He occupies the seat of Peter as the Bishop of Rome.... Peter the Roman!
and even better..the left already doesn’t like him..good..if they dont like him then I like him
If true, that doesn’t bode well at all for the Catholic Church. All their potential Popes will be dead in 20-years.
John Paul 2 was 58. There has to be somebody in that age range who’s got his head on straight.
SnakeDoc
Is there NO time that Shepard Smith will reign in his huge ego? Now he wants a hand in the process of electing the Pope.
