Cuyahoga County (Cleveland) continues to lose population, while two adjacent counties, Medina and Geauga, are gaining. But overall in Ohio I believe it was reported that only four of the 88 counties had gained population statewide.

Great Lakes water levels fluctuate constantly. The current low level is not unprecedented, and will cycle back to high water, so all the shoreline interests will soon be complaining about beach and shore erosion. Happens regularly.

The short loading is a recent development, from what I’m told.
It never happened in the two decades I was fueling boats out of Duluth-Superior.

again, the issue isn’t population, but rather productivity level per resident. GDP per capita, if you will. move the people who don’t do squat out to places where there are jobs, review every single SSI claim, and cap food stamps to 36 months over the course of an adult life span (18-65 years old) and tell tehm you won’t starve but we’re taking it out of your solcial security payments if you need more than that. you’ll get people’s attention.
