Um, yeah. Never DID have to learn THAT particular lesson, Thank Goodness! My brothers were GREAT instructors when it came to all manner of shotguns and rifles...and I ADORED my M-16 while in the Army. I slept with it enough, LOL!

I have a Remington 12 gauge and high powered Remington rifle and knew they were too much and too heavy for me to handle - I didn't have to knock myself over from the recoil to know that.

So,in the last several months, bought a Ruger 22 LR (color PINK) and hollow point cartridges and a 25 cartridge magazine.

It is irony that yesterday, the Senate subcommittee passed the Feinstein Assault Weapons ban and it's now at the Senate for a vote. That bill outlaws magazines that hold more than ten cartridges. The irony is, my 25 cartridge magazine was delivered to my house at the same time that bill outlawing that magazine, was on its way to the senate.

Reid will allow that bill on the floor and the liberals will make speeches to take away our freedom to buy the weapon we want and take away our freedom to be able to fire as many cartridges as we want. I have heard a few congress members say the magazine limit may be removed from that bill and voted on separately in order to pass it. This is suppression of liberty bit by bit.
