When we lived there, we went to a private clinic in a beautiful building, attached to a modern hospital, and received what I considered to be first-class, up-to-American-standards care. Because we could afford it. My doctor trained at Johns Hopkins. But I could not just walk in off the street to any hospital and be cared for, as is the case for Mexicans living here.
You got that right. And unless someone reads every single rider on bills we would never know.
