What you say is part of the problem. Maybe even a large part. I have come to think that our current moral lapse is due to the outstanding success of my grandfather and father's generations. (Grandfather born 1896, Dad 1920) I confess that because of them I have lived well and am grateful for all the blessings I have enjoyed.(Born in the late 1930's) I am sure that there are many others that have benefited from those two generations.

To return to our lapse wealth has made us fat and lazy and unable, both morally and physically, to fight in the War now being waged against our civilization.

If anything good can come out of that, maybe it’s Bill’s liberal audience will wake up as well...

Not faster than the muzzles who will take over just by shear birthdate numbers.

Pubic employees, including teachers, are not unionized in all states - Virginia is an example.

Public schools in Virginia are non-union. Unlike in other states, the VSEA is nothing more than an association, it is not a union. It is actually in the same category of organizations as is the NRA.

Our schools were taken over by the left 40 years ago. Where have you been? And why are you blaming the NRA now?

I invite you to please reconsider your statement that eliminating teachers unions would solve the problems of the government's socialist-entitlement schools.

Historically, it only took one to three generations of socialist-entitement K-12 schooling ( without teachers unions) to give the nation:

**Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt
** Direct election of Senators
**Feminism
** the rise of unions
** Usurpation of large tract of state land for federal parks
** The failed “one world” League of Nations
** the federal reserve
** confiscation of gold
** many of the federal alphabet agencies that control every aspect of our lives. ( Even how we flush the toilet.)
** the infiltration of communists into the highest levels of our government.

Why is government schooling so destructive to freedom?

Answer: The schools are fundamentally the very definition of a compulsory and single-payer socialist entitlement. Children who attend risk learning to be comfortable with taking citizen money for tuition-free schooling. If the voting mob can give the child tuition-free and socialist-entitlement schooling, why not use that power to get lots of free stuff?

And...Socialist-entitlement schools was never better than generically lukewarm in its Protestantism. The progressives who have **always** controlled teacher training and curriculum development have **always** been pushing to the goal of complete godlessness.

Solution: Remove your own children. Work to convince others to do the same. Rescue as many children as possible. Work toward the complete shut down of all government socialist-entitlement K-12 schooling. Work to see that all children in this nation have access to a **PRIVATE** and conservative education.

Some 4000 households in this school district and only some 800 voters on the last ballot asking whether we wanted to raise taxes to pay for a freakin practice gymnasium. An estimated 70% of those voters were school employees.

Even worse, the damn thing went up for a vote 3 times in 7 months. The first two times were on presidential primary day, on state primary day and the 3rd time in September between other votes on a single ballot by itself. The state has changed the law so they have to put it on a ballot during a regular election.

I can’t blame the schools for our failure to fight back.

We gave all the state board of education seats and all the college administration seats to democrats as well.

I am not blaming the NRA. I am simply stating that unless the government's socialist-entitlement K-12 indoctrination centers are closed down, the NRA will lose its fight to protect the Second Amendment.

The NRA may win skirmishes but it will not win the war against such a powerful government school indoctrination machine that is teaching the next generation of voters to fear guns and HATE gun owners.

Personally, I see government schooling as an URGENT and EXTREME threat to our freedom. The NRA isn't going to stop it. Even if conservatives act immediately it still may be too late to save the nation.

If conservatives and Christians removed their children in many counties and even entire states the whole EVIL system of government schooling would completely collapse!

Result:
** No more prison-like $80 million dollar indoctrination centers
** No more tax levies
** No more indoctrination people's committee ( oops! “school board” ) meetings.
** No more school ballot initiatives

Where have you been?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Well....Since the mid-1980s I save three children from the government indoctrination camps by homeschooling them. That took some effort and sacrifice of my second income.

I am also helping educate my grandchildren now.

And....I am doing all that I can to convince other conservatives to remove their children from the socialist-entitlement schools and to convince them that socialist-entitlement schooling can NOT be reformed precisely because it **is** socialist.

Some one is off their meds again.

You're exactly right. And since the poster demands certain people no "post" to her there is no way to combat her continuous lies and distortions, or personal insults and attacks.

I'm still trying to figure out her pornography reference about the Another Reason to Homeschool list's initials.Do you have any clue what that is about?

That would be the responsibility of the parents; not the poster ‘wintertime’.

Homeschooling is great for those who can but most Americans either can’t for financial reasons or can’t due to their own lack of education.

In the end, homeschooling becomes like sending troops to storm the beaches of Normandy while leaving the German weapons factories intact. Fighting on a single front is a losing proposition. We’ve got to fight the whole battle, not just the convenient part.

I don’t even have kids and I’m out there fighting this fight.

my grandfather and father’s generations. (Grandfather born 1896, Dad 1920)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

These generations attended the nation’s first socialist-entitlement schools in one to three generations of socialist-entitlement K-12 schooling our nation voted in the following:

( Fundamentally, if the nation’s children attend socialist-entitlement schools they risk learning to be comfortable slopping at the public trough.)

**Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt
** Direct election of Senators
**Feminism
** the rise of unions
** Usurpation of large tract of state land for federal parks
** The failed “one world” League of Nations

Government schools are the culprit in most of America’s problems.

With all due respect, EricT, Government schools aren't the nation's problem any more than Obama is. The problem is the majority of patriots who use schools merely as a "safe" place to leave their kids while they go to work, not making sure that the schools are teaching their kids the Constitution as the Founding States had intended for it to be understood, particularly the Founding States' division of federal and state government powers.

Thomas Jefferson had correctly predicted the consequences patriot apathy as follows.

"Cherish, therefore, the spirit of our people, and keep alive their attention. If once they become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, judges and governors, shall all become wolves. It seems to be the law of our general nature." - Thomas Jefferson (Letter to Edward Carrington January 16, 1787)

It is time to call government teachers what they are: Evil, Stupid, and/or Useful Idiots!

No one is holding a gun to their heads forcing them to establish this EVIL system. They do it WILLINGLY! They WILLINGLY seek and agree to corrupt the minds of children. and destroy our nation’s freedom. There is no other word appropriate than to call it what it is: EVIL!

It is evil even if sweet Teacher Honey Bun is the minister’s wife, directs the children’s Bell Choir, plants flowers and loves her cat.

IT IS **EVIL**!!!

Personally, I shun them. ( I don’t have abortion workers for friends, either.)
