Giffords still does not realize she was the first one shot, then another, then Judge Roll dead. The reason she is alive is the 9MM bullet. It was not wide enough to do murder on her.
With a limited capacity magazine, (.357 or .45) she would be dead, the second person dead, and Judge Roll still just as dead.

How is it courageous to vote in agreement with one public opinion but not with another?
Eye of the beholder, certainly.
Gabby, how is it courageous to disarm the American people?
This is not the time, with increasing unrest and terrorism here and abroad, to leave regular folks defenseless.
Just because you're afraid of guns (understandable) does not mean they are all bad.
It depends on who is holding the gun, as you well know, since your own armed guards and your hubby doesn't seem to bother you.
