This is pretty sick stuff... 10 years the girls were kept in chains, and raped by these scum.

I wonder what entity is the US Police. Maybe an interpretation thing?

Its an AFP syndicated article... Agence France Presse.. meant for an international audience, so to simplify, they probably just put it out as US Police, instead of the concerned local agency

If a fund is started to help these women get started again in life someone please bring it to Free Republic. Here are three women who need money for clothes, and a place to live until they get their lives straight.

'but McGrath insisted that he was absolutely confident that his officers had not missed a chance for an earlier rescue.'

The coverup begins.

As usual it is the private citizen who does the work, not the police or feds.

Amazing those women kept their sanity!

Put them in the public stocks and let the families and neighbor take care of things.

I agree. That aside, the thread headline had to make me laugh....”they THINK they’ll charge these perverts?”

Police sources said Jocelyn was occasionally taken out of the house and would visit Ariel Castro’s mother, Lillian Rodriguez, who she called ‘grandmother’.

Hang her too..........

Inquiring minds.....

Sure I guess they missed the women in chains naked in the
backyard when a neighbor called.

I am so glad these women are free and I hope they can begin their lives now.

I hope they fry the brothers grim too!

They are from Puerto Rico and the Puerto Rico flag flied at the house. Don't know about welfare. Somebody said a sister is in jail, but I don't know if this is true or not. There does seem to be either a genetic defect or really horrible parenting to have three brothers involved in such horrible acts.

I’m not familiar with “illegal” US citizens.

Certainly what they did was illegal.

The fund is at Key Bank. It's a joint project of Key Bank, the Cleveland Foundation, and the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center.

McGrath insisted that he was absolutely confident that his officers had not missed a chance for an earlier rescue.

So then reports of women being led around naked with leashes must be common in McGrath's town -- and certainly not an indication of someone being held captive. Good police work folks.
