OK, valley girl, it's like this: in the US, conversations about race are generally one-sided, with the black/liberal side lecturing whites about what they should believe.
Any public disagreement by any white person with the politically-correct position, will get the white person labeled "racist" and hounded out of his job. Especially if the job is in media.
THAT is why white people are uncomfortable having such conversations.

When O’Brien reports the daily black on white crimes the same as they would had they been white on black, that is when we can have a real conversation on racial issues.

She claims to want a “conversation” on race with white people but she’d pop her cork if white people matched her racial aggression, scapegoating and nasty attitude in a “conversation.” It would be more like a screaming match on the way to a brawl.
What she wants is preferences for blacks, without regard to merit, instituted across the board. And she wants whites totally excluded from opportunity regardless of merit across the board.

For the last several years I have lived in mixed race neighborhoods as a lower middle class earner. Blacks and Hispanics are just as racist or more so than any white family I have lived around. Secondly race pumps like this racist with the Irish sir name need to shut their pie hole and educate their brothers and sisters that three families do not live in one house where no one works, like my next door neighbors.

I doubt Soledad O’Brien wants a real conversation on race...such as, “Why do blacks like killing blacks?” The black males between 15 & 40 are perhaps 3% of our population, yet commit 50% of all the murders and are most of the victims as well. In Chicago in 2011, 70% of all murder VICTIMS had a criminal records...and the vast majority were black.
So Soledad - why do blacks men in their teens and twenties like killing other blacks? Lets have a conversation...girl with white skin who sees race in everything but crime!
