The SEC is a minor league operation ~ the large main line federal agencies are different ~ a lower density of lawyers ~ a higher density of career employees ~ and a GS 12 will turn on his GS 15 supervisor's boss in a second.

You don't need indictments ~ all you need is to engage folks in a conversation ~ they'll give up the brass easily. After all, times are tough; pay raises few and far between; a traditional way to get ahead in the government is to MOVE UP TO A VACANCY!

Obviously you KNOW everything and according to you, I'm wrong.

I'm afraid your just another one of those classic individuals with the "rightness" disease.

You're always busy trying to be "right", even when you're not.

Pontificate your a$$ off. My opinion isn't changing.

you may be right, but 40 years of experience inside the belly of the beast tells me the mid-grade people will turn on any SES or appointee type in a second.

Sure, you start your investigation at the bottom, but not with an indictment!

The second you charge them with a crime they'll lawyer up and stop talking.

May?   Several weeks after returning home from 912 - I received a letter from the IRS claiming I owed more than $60,000 and that I had failed to respond to an "initial" letter I never even received.

The subsequent audit proved I didn't owe one red cent.

(Angry "white"guys.  LOL.)

I passed my audit -- We'll see if the RINOs let Comrade Chairman & Co. pass theirs.

Who or what can trigger an audit?

Would you trust the witness protection program? I wouldn't.

Anyway....It isn't likely that the machine would go after the witnesses directly. They will “disappear” a niece or nephew, as they did with Michele Malkin’s niece. Do you remember the amazing number of close relatives of Bill Clinton's witnesses who managed to have had fatal accidents remarkably close to the time the witnesses were to testify.

I doubt that the machine could pull off a Breitbart on all four or five witnesses, and to be shot in the head the night before testifying, as happened to Quales ( someone who saw Obama’s passport), is also unlikely. One?...Yes! Likely! Four or five would definitely raise suspicions.

We’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg.

The House Ways and Means Committee plans a hearing Tuesday to allow victims to testify for the first time. In earlier hearings, one IRS official pleaded the Fifth to avoid answering questions.

Smart move. The problem with questioning Miller, et al. was that they provide non-answers and there wasn't much of a story to be had. The IRS had is chance to come clean and didn't Now we get to hear the other side of the story, and the horror and stench of the IRS behavior will be the lasting impression in the minds of most Americans. The IRS can come out and protest, but they've already given their testimony so they'll look like fools. It's lose/lose for the IRS.

Good!

I had to write a check. It was cashed less than two weeks after I sent it.
