I have been here all of my life-—WHEN will I be protected from Islam????
I have family in Clarksville & love coming to visit as Tennessee is a beautiful state. But if this U.S. attorney is in charge of East Tennessee, then there are some folks living in those hills he had best not get riled up. I stopped to eat in East TN heading west from Virginia one year & the dining area was full of the scariest looking white people I have ever seen.
Killian thinks he is part of the Nashville Shelby Murfreesboro Axis where there is a mega mosque and enough imported muzzies to be of influence, especially Somalis which are the worst of the worst.
Tennesseans have their guns & to a liberal like Killian, that’s a big problem. It’s a problem to the muzzies as well. Liberty’s not over, yet. With an armed populace out there, suppressing dissidents & arresting them is not about simply rounding them up into a barred window bus.
It requires planning a major combat operation.
That is why we must be thankful that this country, unlike Britain has this: guns, guns, guns, guns.

Group sets meeting to increase tolerance of Muslims, culture

A special meeting has been scheduled for the stated purpose of increasing awareness and understanding that American Muslims are not the terrorists some have made them out to be in social media and other circles.
“Public Disclosure in a Diverse Society” will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, at the Manchester-Coffee County Conference Center, 147 Hospitality Blvd.
Special speakers for the event will be Bill Killian, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and Kenneth Moore, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Knoxville Division.
Sponsor of the event is the American Muslim Advisory Council of Tennessee — a 15-member board formed two years ago when the General Assembly was considering passing legislation that would restrict those who worship Sharia Law, which is followed by Muslims.
Killian and Moore will provide input on how civil rights can be violated by those who post inflammatory documents targeted at Muslims on social media.
“This is an educational effort with civil rights laws as they play into freedom of religion and exercising freedom of religion,” Killian told The News Monday. “This is also to inform the public what federal laws are in effect and what the consequences are.”

Tennessee U.S. Attorney Under Fire For Suggestion That Offensive Speech May Violate Federal Law

The Obama Administration is currently struggling to deal with disclosure of its attack on the free press under Attorney General Eric Holder. Now, its .S. attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, Bill Killian, suggested an equally disturbing attack on free speech. Killian told a meeting with local Muslim citizens that he wants to “educate” people about how civil rights laws can be used against anti-Muslim speech. He made these comments along side of the FBI special agent in charge of the Knoxville office.
“If hate speech leads directly to violence or is used to create an atmosphere of intimidation or attacks against a minority group, the government does well to look into the manner. But for a person with the vast resources and power of the federal government at his disposal, such as a U.S. attorney, to threaten prosecution of those who say offensive things about Muslims on the Internet is to place free speech in jeopardy. Indeed, rather than silencing those who complain about sharia law, statements such as those of Killian are likely to fuel such fears–and rightly so–since he appears to be setting Muslims up as a protected class who cannot be offended without fear of recourse to the law.
What’s especially frightening about this is that the discussion of what offends Muslims has very little to do with actionable hate speech. As was the case with the YouTube video about Muhammad that the administration initially claimed to have been the cause of the Benghazi attacks, the video was something that was perfectly legal even if it was ill considered and nasty as well as inept. But just as the maker of that video was jailed on a parole violation (a turn of events that would have been inconceivable had he not been subjected to international opprobrium including condemnation by the president and the secretary of state), there now appears to be a double standard by which the government seems to view offenses to Islam. Attacks on Islam or even rude remarks about its prophet may be uncivil, but they are no more illegal than abuse directed at Jews or any other form of hate that the government rightly forebears from prosecuting.”
