Why the Democrats Still Need Working-Class White Voters

Under George W. Bush, the Democrats in the Senate took obstructionism to new heights, filibustering justices, blocking well-qualified candidates just to score ideological points (on behalf of Marxist groups in Latin America, for example), but that was OK with the media because it thwarted Bush.

This morning as I was flipping channels I saw that MSNBC was having a discussion with the caption: "GOP Obstruction in the Senate."

Of course that is in line with one of the current White House talking points.
