I left the democrat party because I was too conservative to be a democrat (I was a Reagan democrat). Now I find I’m too conservative for the republican
party. If Sarah starts a new party, I’m in!

In an interview with Breitbart News, she expanded on her criticism of the RNC's self-examination, saying that the RNC's decision to use political consultants was "a perfect example of everything they are doing wrong."

Consultants want to bill hours. They get to bill hours when they please the people paying the bills.

GOP wants our money and our votes, but not our principles.

Great post - she nailed it... Every one of the ‘reasons’ is right on the money...

...identified four key events that prompted individuals to "disaffiliate" from the party. One was the rejection of the "lesser of two evils" argument--the argument that voters had to support a bad Republican because the Democratic candidate would invariably be worse. Both conservatives and moderates are tired of the "two evils" argument, Sorock said.

The other reasons are just as good...

El Presidente Jorge Bush and his amnesty campaign chased me away in 2007. I have no regrets, and I am hoping Palin and Levin will go forward with a new party.

Graham, McCain, Rubio, et al are unnecessarily motivating the exodus by supporting amnesty while thumbing their noses at the voters.

2014 could have been big for Republicans, but the quislings are making that an impossibility.

i was a republican for 33 years. I left when Boehner bent over and spread ‘em during the fiscal cliff fantasy. I joined the Libertarian Party. I’m not in 100% agreement with them but the honest consistency is refreshing. The GOP sucks.

I posted the same article, but the thread was locked by the mods, due to your thread being posted hours earlier.

I even ran a search on the title before posting. Whatevah....

It’s not about hope (a word now forever sullied by ASSociation), it’s about trust!

Lie to us once... lie to us for 40+ (-8) years and someone finally might figure it out.

Rant from a previous post:

The GOP machine handed Obama TWO elections. He wouldn’t have been elected dog-catcher if it weren’t for the total incompetence of the GOP.

The House has been run by the GOP the entire time. What have they done to stop, or even slow, the train wreck?
The Senate has not passed a budget, but the house continues the unsustainable spending spree. Name one serious attempt at blocking something; Name one program that has been defunded; name one law that has been repealed; name one patriot that has been defended!

Oh, and don’t forget those all-important SCOTUS appointments. How has that worked out?

I don’t care about a third party; I just want one that works...

I’m finished voting for the lesser of two evils. I’m not doing it any longer. The GOP can go to hell. Until a third party evolves, I’m out. Yes, I know this essentially casts a vote for the Dims, but I’ll be damned if I’m forced to choke down teaspoonfuls of crap in order to avoid the tablespoon - you can’t pick a turd up by the clean end!

How long after you “register the Tea Party as an official political party” until you have the same problem as all these other stupid political parties? Those in positions of responsibility in the centralized organization sooner or later worry more about what’s needed for its own survival than what best for America and the American people. That is why the Tea Party in uncommon wisdom has resisted centralizing into an official political party.
