Secure the borders!! Get a handle on who you allow into the country!! Quit allowing these people in!! Duh, they are at war with us!!

And quit trying to take our guns!! We need them now more than ever!!

I think it enhances her resume. Very few people in the history of political power have demonstrated that level of integrity. The only people who can be trusted with power are those who can walk away from it when its the right thing to do. Not many like that. I work with hundreds of small to mid size employers. Almost all are reducing employees and/or employees’ hours to avoid the costs of Obamacare.

That certainly seems to be the trend, seeing the reports. Thanks for the confirmation.

Any one of us could've told them the consequences (unintended or not) of this fiasco. Of course, businesses will do what helps their bottom line. The government is the only entity that doesn't care about fiscal responsibility.

Most of us cannot fathom or feel a ‘suffocating 17 trillion dollar debt’... such words are truly meaningless until the we actually feel it’s effects. As long as the debt ceiling continues to be raised we will not feel that ‘weight’ until it’s too late to do anything about it... if it’s not too late already.

The Weimar Republic comes to mind. Except they printed money in an attempt to pay off their debts; we are printing money in order to keep spending and spending. I guess I never thought of it this way - the Weimar Republic really had no choice, due to the debt incurred after WWI but WE are doing this voluntarily, and expecting different results.

Give it a rest! Alaska does not pay for defending lawsuits against the Governor. The Dems went all out in filing frivilous suits against Sarah.

She and Todd were having to use their own savings to oppose the suits and it was driving them toward personal bankruptcy. Additionally, she was having to spend too much time fighting the suits instead of Governing and felt it was unfair to the people of Alaska.

Funny how people see things differently. I remember thinking how she really put one over on those dead set on destroying her. I thought then and still believe now that it was a brilliant move strategically. I posted as such on a thread that day.
