The same way they’ve won election here in Mn, in Ohio, in Pa, in Ny, and now in Virginia. The figured out how to use the media and their FSA foot soldiers to game elections. 107% over votes in some precincts? No big deal. 100% turnout for one candidate and zero votes for anyone else? Plausible. Keep recounting votes until you get the totals you want? Easy. Slip a few hundred “same day registration” ballots in? Bus in loads of folks from nursing homes? Pay the indigent to cast prefilled out ballots? Union bosses as election judges?
All this and probably a whole slew of other tricks that have yet to see the light of day.
And never will.

Who’s the pro-kill asshole that wrote the article?
I vote mostly Rep. I only vote L when the R is a RINO.
My main issues are economic, bill of Rights enforcement, and stuffing government back into it’s Art 1 sec 8 box.
My vote isn’t yours by right. It’s earned.
From folks like Sarvin though... Exit polling data shows he pulled heavier from McAuliffe.
Face it. Between the DNC vote manufacturing machine and getting hung out to dry by the GOP, Ken was a long shot.
Blacks went to real schools back then.
I was talking about the libertarians, not the liberals sorry for the confusion .
it is possible to do better, but the Eisenhower, Nixon and Christie totals are not at all relevant to Presidential elections of today.
Libertarians don’t have a template. They are a herd of cats...
The comparison of abortion to slavery is quite sound.
Both are abhorent things that require the de-humanization of the victim. In slavery, we treated blacks as the property of the slaveowners. In abortion, we treat the child as the property of the woman.
I’m talking about what could be in the elections of tomorrow.
That might be but there is a correlation between educational attainment and frequency of voting. In 1950 6% of blacks had a Bachelor’s Degree. In 1960, it was 8% and in 2012 it was 23%.
those examples are not really germaine to tomorrow either...
Nah. Just the ones that were needed, once early returns revealed the required number.
In an election that is at all close, that's the same as voting D.
At best, if the election isn't close, the Losertarian asterisk is slightly enlarged, FWIW, which isn't much!
On the Libertarian Party facebook page, they were gloating about the loss of Cucinelli. They referred to him as a homophobe and extremist, and one Libertarian actually said "other than gas taxes, what makes you think Sarvis was a fiscal liberal"? - which is like saying "other than the 2 dead bodies, what makes you think OJ is a murder?".
Capital L libertarians are nothing more than pot smoking liberals who don't want to pay taxes.
And I left the LP page - I'd rather support a group with personal integrity. Like the Tea Party.
At that point, so is voting for the R.
For instance, I will NEVER vote for someone who supports gun control. I don't care what the initial next to their name says. "Brady bill" Bob Dole come to mind?
Maybe more of you should hold true to your principles rather than selling them out for a meaningless initial next to some RINO's name.
Capital L libertarians are nothing more than pot smoking liberals who don't want to pay taxes.
And RINO Republicans kiss Democrats full on the mouth and like it.
Wow... That got us far.
Like the Tea Party.
Damn straight. Now you are talking sense.
How can we know today what is going to be germaine for tomorrow? I will admit to not owning a crystal ball, however!
In the not too distant past, Ronald Reagan (12%), George H.W. Bush (11%) and George W. Bush (12%) were able to earn twice the percentage of the black vote of Mitt Romney (6%) and triple the percentage of the black vote of John McCain (4%).
In a close election that could be a crucial difference and it’s the same with the Latino and Asian American electorate.
Well, it doesn’t take a crystal ball to make some predictions. You simply have to know why. And of course it can be important.
I think your figures about Bush and Reagan and black percentages are off, but maybe not. At any rate, the main reason the GOP take of African Americans went from the 10% range to the 5% range is that Obama was running.
