Ruy Teixeira is a big proponent of due to demographics the Democrats will become an unassailable majority party.

Majority, yes. Unassailable, no. Democrat "loyalty" is a mile wide and and inch deep. The real danger is election fraud - because making their base stay home is easy, but it won't help if the no-shows get "voted" by Democrat operatives, anyway.

Red states are communist/leftist/liberal/progressive states.

Blue states are Reagan Republican states, established by his landslide wins in 1980 and 1984.

Get it right.

They just elected another Republican Attorney General

I don't think that race has been officially called yet. The margin was only about 300 votes, IIRC, and provisional ballots are still being counted.

Time to creatively gerrymander Northern Virginia and give it to Maryland.

In addition to turning several more states from purple and red to blue, the coup de grace to election of another Republican president will be administered upon passage of amnesty.

I’m actually surprised that they are still counties in deep south Texas and along the river that are still red at all. Dallas county I get due to carpet-baggers, immigrants, and one of the largest gay communities outside of SFO.

This week’s Gubernatorial poll had Abbot(R) at 50% and Davis(D)at 35%.

Virginia should consider giving back to a non-voting D.C. the part that was D.C. before the Civil War

Before we continue our crying session and quit, we should ask how this race have turned-out if Cuccinelli had not been so grossly outspent. How it would have turned-out if Cuccinelli had ignored his beltway handles and campaigned like Wisconsin Gov. Walker?

There’s no doubt that Blacks and Hispanics continue to tilt further to the Left with each passing election.

In the not-too-distant past, blacks were more likely than whites to oppose both legal abortion and gay marriage. But now that their new god supports both as holy sacraments, there is NOTHING the Dems want that they oppose.

Thank you for saying that.

I have been saying this forever.

Red = communism
Blue = loyalty to the Republic

What is very demoralizing is that many conservatives have fully accepted this double-plus good jedi mind trick of democrat false labeling.

Liberals all want to live on the “Big government plantation”, call it voluntary servitude, if you will.

Actually, thank you.

There are too many who will not make an effort. They talk, but they will not self-discipline.

Thanks for some GREAT news. I think Abortion Barbie is gonna be a national progressive contribution sinkhole in 2014.

It's a foregone conclusion. Perhaps in 2016, but definitely by 2020.

If you're serious, that's frightening. Texas will go Blue because of the influx of Mexicans, or because of the influx of former Californians?

Or is it an age thing... are younger Texans more liberal?

If the GOP loses Texas, we are screwed for sure.

Except for the northeast there are no blue states. There are blue cities that are so blue that they can provide enough votes to win majorities for the left in statewide elections. Call it the government as Daddy syndrome.

I’ve tended to believe in the demographic trend also.

Perhaps Obamacare can be a difference maker.

The big problem is the Dems strategy is based on entitlements funded by fake money.

Until they meet the harsh sword of financial reality, it’s an uphill struggle.
