I seriously doubt FreeReign is a fool. Currently Bob Smith is the only named candidate in NH race that has a chance of winning (despite your disagreement). Bob Smith endorsement letter to Kerry was riddled with conservative ideology, balance budget, less spending, strong military, leaving Iraq.
The only part I didn’t agree with was the environmental statement. However, while I detest the environmentalist lies and goals, I do love the cleaner environment. Not because it is saving planet, but because it makes the world a better place to live. I appreciate the cleaner rivers, parks, less smog etc...
One final point, everyone that disagrees with you is not a fool, just not you. A person that can not accept another opinion or viewpoint will remain ignorant their whole life.
That’s the problem. They are way too cozy with one another. I don’t trust him.
Smith’s erratic, a flake, and past his prime. His is not a serious candidacy.
Ahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhaha. Except for the whole part where it's an ENDORSEMENT OF JOHN KERRY FOR PRESIDENT. Honest to God. Bush was a RINO POS, I agree, endorse a third party if you want, fine.
But endorse Kerry? Praise that scumbag for his brave service in nam? Give me a break. Kerry would have balanced the budget? Maybe with a huge tax hike.
He endorsed Kerry out of spite because Bush supported Sununu Jr. and it is my opinion that any conservative Republican that still supports him after that revealing act is indeed a fool. I maintain that.
And I very strongly disagree with the idea that's he a viable candidate.
, I do love the cleaner environment.
Me too. Nobody doesn't. Nobody likes smog. Too bad liberals are concerned with "climate change" and saving rare species of worms rather than real environmental issues.
“Bob Smith endorsement letter to Kerry was riddled with conservative ideology, balance budget, less spending, strong military, leaving Iraq.”
Wait, what? Bob Smith endorsed John F’n Kerry, in the general election, for president of the United States, and you think that we need to consider the supposedly conservative *language* that he used in his endorsement? Heck, whenever a quisling “conservative” endorses a liberal he will claim that he’s doing it because he’s “true to his conservative principles” (like that pro-lifer (Bob Kmieck or something who endorsed Obama supposedly *because* of his pro-life principles), so why should Bob Smith be any different? He’s a fake conservative and a nutcase, and completely unelectable in NH or anywhere else.
I was happy that he managed to win reelection against Dick Swett in 1996 (that was one loooong election night), but he was a dead man walking in 2002 and I proudly supported John E. Sununu, who was both more conservative than Smith and *far* more electable. For 2014, I hope that we can run an electable conservative instead of Scott Brown (what’s John E. Sununu doing nowadays?), but Bob Smith is neither electable nor conservative.
Underscore nutcase. Add egotistical.
Bob Smith is a legend...in his own mind. He's running...only because his liberal "friends" tell him to.
I would gladly support a conservative such as John E. Sununu whom you characterize as “GOP-e” over a quisling such as Bob Smith who left the GOP, then returned in order to be an enviro-whacko committee chairman (I guess Smith was one of those “anti-establishment” *liberal committee chairmen*, LOL!), and then endorsed John F’n Kerry (!) for the presidency. If you really think that Bob Smith is really some sort of “conservative alternative,” then you haven’t been paying attention for at least the past 15 years.
Hey, FreeReign, that guy wasn’t zotted because what he posted wasn’t true, he was posted because he was a liberal troll (you know, a shorter version of Bob Smith) who kept posting stuff under multiple handles. But his thread truthfully reporting Bob Smith’s public endorsement of John Kerry *for president—in the general election* was not pulled, and neither were subsequent threads on the subject.
The onus is on you to convince us that someone that either liberal enough or mentally unbalanced enough to endorse *John Kerry for president* is an electable and trustworthy conservative. (Actually, given your posts on this thread, the onus is on you to show that you’re a sane and well informed conservative, not that it would make your opinion on Bob Smith any less weird.)
I share your concern about finding a dependable conservative who can beat Shaheen, but, believe me, Bob Smith doesn’t meet either criteria.
My position was clear. I said if Smith did endorse Kerry then "I would withdraw my support". So the onus is not on me for any such thing.
(Actually, given your posts on this thread, the onus is on you to show that youre a sane and well informed conservative, not that it would make your opinion on Bob Smith any less weird.)
Actually the onus is on you to retract your false implication about what I said.
Scott Brown travels almost weekly to New Hampshire. Last month he formed a political action committee there to raise funds; then he attacked the Democratic senator on national health care.
Which one is the GOPe favorite - Scott Brown or Bob Smith?
DAILY KOS???? REALLY????
OMG...if that is true, GO SCOTT BROWN!!!! Smith is dead to me.
Try googling the text, it’s accurate whether you like it or not. Smith went off his nut.

It was all over FR, curb your disbelief.
Bob Smith is beyond dirty irma; he is infested irma.
Best post on this thread.
Thank you Impy!
Too lazy to start a new thread; fairly interesting:
I guess I’m “Eastern New England”. OTOH, RIers sound like NYers to me - not even close to “Bostonese”. Mainiacs speak different altogether.
I think I have a Chi accent (how could I not) but I don’t sound like those “Da Bears” guys from that SNL skit. Dennis Franz sounds like that.
There was this test I found
http://www.gotoquiz.com/results/what_american_accent_do_you_have
Gives me “the inland north” 100%.
“You may think you speak “Standard English straight out of the dictionary” but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like “Are you from Wisconsin?” or “Are you from Chicago?” Chances are you call carbonated drinks “pop.””
It is less specific than your link that has “Inland Northern” as being around upstate New York.
A key thing seems to be the pronunciation of Merry, Mary and Marry. Some people pronounce all 3 differently? News to me.
I think FMDJ was telling me once he considered his accent atypical.
Yeah, by all accounts I should have a fairly strong Southern accent, having always lived in Nashville, but because of my parents (one with a strong Midwestern accent and another with a fair NYC accent, albeit not a caricature Brooklynese one) and deliberate childhood attempts to mimic tv and movie stars, I turned out with a bizarre mixed accent that sounds more Northeastern (somewhere between Maryland and on north). I don’t sound like a native.
So...you sound like Andrew Dice Clay? :)
