Gore is indeed skating on thick ice - the ice sheet is hitting the fan.

They know so much about planet earth they can predict the climate within a few degrees 100 years into the future ... but were surprised to find a chain of active volcanoes.

Al Gore says, “Volcanoes produce CO2 due to the fossil fuels that volcanoes consume. Therefore man made fossil fuels are causing global warming. Neptune weeps.”

That's putting it in perspective rather well, TigersEye.

I follow this topic far closer than most. It’s not just the science and junk science that is fascinating - it is the religious dogma that global warming has become for seemingly intelligent people.
There have been numerous articles recently that appear to point to the obvious culprit for temperature variance (the sun) and the devout seem to admit the role of the sun, yet they don’t change their minds. This news is fascinating because this shelf on the Antarctic is the one most often pointed to as evidence of warming due to ice activity, yet here we learn there are active volcanoes (a major source of heat and gas) underneath this portion of the ice sheet when someone actually looked.
This seems to be a pretty logical reason ice behavior would be different in that particular spot, yet it won’t change their narrative. They are the modern version of the flat-earth society.

I know people who warm the planet simply by being on it. Most of them are right here on Free Republic. And that’s a good thing.
And now back to your regular programming.
