As for Jang’s death, we have competing reports. One is the story reported by SK media that he was mowed down by ZPU-4 anti-aircraft gun, with 14.5mm rounds, then flamethrower torched whatever is left of him. The other is Hong Kong media story of 120 dogs which were not fed for three days, which were finally unleashed on Jang and his five cronies who were strip-naked. That is what I read from SK media relaying Hong Kong story. I don't know if they got it right but that is what SK media said.

Well, according to ROK news breaking just now, both the attractive yet dangerous young wife of Kim Jong Un, (Ri Sol Ju), as well as "Fishlips" Jang (RIP) sellout wife, "Black Eyes" Kim Kyong Hui, were BOTH NOTICEABLY MISSING TODAY FOR THE KIM JONG-IL 2 YEAR DEMISE ANNIVERSARY GIG IN PYONGYANG.

The former has not been seen in public for some time. One wonders if this is for precautions of some kind, or whether they are sick, under arrest, dead, or what not. Who knows what's going on up there, really.

Thanks for those details. There can be no doubt they behaved either way like the old NKVD or GRU of the Soviet Union, and must have graphically filmed Comrade Fishlip (Uncle) Jang's public execution, to show to "study sessions" around the nation to the cadres, in military barracks, public assemblies, you name it. With the invariable caveat, "this awaits you, too, if you oppose the Great Generalissimo in any measure."

I think they are under lock and key. Even if she turned in the uncle I think Auntie is probably looked at with suspicion. This is a country that will execute you and send your extended family to the concentration camps because you read a flier dropped by balloon from South Korea.

Major national couch time needed, in the event there is a complete turnover of the Kim Dynasty in the DPRK, and somehow they unite with the South under a multiparty, democratic system.

I would expect massive suicides and many mental health care professionals, thousands of them, fluent in Korean, needed to to to every city, town, village and hamlet in that God-awful place. The humanitarian NGOs certainly would have their hands full.

Watching Central TV live right now via UStream (this is blocked in some countries I know). they are showing a documentary on KJI, the usual drivel, very emotional, and narrated by none other than **Pyongyang Patty**, the national North Korean elite TV announcer. I saw an earlier view of the Kim Il Sung Square with hundreds of thousands in the usual formation, so not sure if “festivities” (oops, could be executed in DPRK for using that word) to recall the demise of KJI two years ago to this date, starts at 1:00 p.m. local, or if it is ongoing and they are just airing the documentary of Kim Jong il’s great deeds simultaneous. Some weird vintage footage of Kim Jong il “looking at stuff.” It is going past the 1:00 p.m. hour, so not sure what is happening on the ground there. I hoped to get a view of the Politboro up close and see who and who is not there, around Kim Jong Un today.

Addition: Confirmed wife of "Fishlips" Jang Sung Taek, "Black Eyes" Kim Kyong Hui, did NOT appear at the various 2-year-annivesary Bucket Kick events today in Pyongyang.

However, correcting my ealier observation, there IS a still photograph showing the WIFE of Kim Jong Un accompanied her husband to the mausoleum of Kim Jong il on the 2 year anniversary of his death. I wonder about these stills, when taken, but they do appear to show her (Ri) involved in at least one event publicly today (12/17), the appearance to see the corpse, but not at the major party commemorative event. So we at least know she is alive.

Right. Kyong-hui is no show, while Sol-ju was present. Kyong-hui is probably incapacitated physically. Her days could be numbered. At least she gets to pass away in her bed "peacefully."

SK media reports the unusual appearance of Kim Jong-eun today. Exhausted and unfocused.

Could be that he had too much drink last night, or something weighs him down heavily. Either way he does not look well. He did the deed, but may not be sure how he goes about it from now on. Just my speculation.

I did not see any video today, but Kim Jong Un indeed look somewhat ruffled and somewhat in a “funk” in that photo going into the mausoleum to pay tribute to that dead slab of a piece of meet formerly his father, Kim Jong-il, with his pretty, composed wife next to him. Maybe SHE’s the dragon lady ordering all these executions. Looked like he was out of it, mentally, today. I guess somebody else is pulling the strings, he knows it, and he could be the next one out there in a field naked with a 120 hungry, rabid dogs, gunned down with all of them and burnt to a crisp with a flame thrower. I am sure he posts arm guards within feet of his bed these days. So he and the Mrs. won’t be getting any action I’m afraid. What a waste (course the baby might be waking them at night, too).

I am watching Pyongyang TV at this moment on UStream (9 p.m. Seoul/Pyongyang/Tokyo), a replay of the general KWP general assembly earlier today, in a filled Pyongyang auditorium, paying tribute to dead Kim Jong-il. Everybody looks so nervous and uptight. Bad time to cut a fart, I imagine. There is this HUGE portrait of KJI right above young Kim Jong Un in the center of the dais. I think it is Kim Yong Nam rattling on and on and on. It is interest to note the generals sitting to his immediate close right hand side. They just held up the "APPLAUSE, YOU ROBOTS!" signs. Now a rep from the Korean Peoples Army takes the stage. Dead silence in that huge auditorium. Nobody better sneeze.

IMO they’re purging the Chinese. There’s been some speculation the uncle was a significant Chinese adviser to the Kims.

During the recent war scare a Chinese SU-27 was shot down by the Norks.
