I prefer to decide about him based on his actions and his policies, not on whether this is a trumped-up charge, since we don’t even know for sure yet. I’m sorry I ever got into this discussion with such a small-minded person, and I think that way more and more as time goes by.

First you imply his staff is to blame and state you don't believe he would do something like that.

Then when called on it, ya state you don't know for sure if the allegations against him are false.
