I met 6 moonwalkers, didn’t get all of their autographs (Neil Armstrong shook hands but didn’t sign, didn’t even manage to get a good photo when I met him). I did collect up a number of Apollo (and even Mercury) astronauts signatures in person an elsewhere. Even met some of the ground team over the years.
They are not happy about their founding efforts being neglected in subsequent generations. They put their lives on the line for manned space flight.
