If you look at table B-1

The non seasonally adjusted number of total non farm jobs was 138,266,000 in December and 135,396,000 in January
That’s a loss of 2,870,000 jobs.
Now add in the guesstimate of net jobs from the Birth and Death model (-307,000)

Run the output through seasonal adjustment
Out comes +113,000 jobs.
