Great idea!
And ammo...think available ammo
If I game Mrs. Gamecock a gun for Valentine’s Day I would be her first target.
If I had a “Valentine” I would give her 100 rounds of .22!
My dear husband gave me a Moisin-Nagant (1920) sniper rifle for Valentine’s Day several years ago, because nothing says I love you like a sniper rifle!
Actually, I made the perfect card for any occasion and I used it for the anniversary and will slightly modify for Valentine’s Day, etc.
It simply states “Happy ValenBirthAversary!”
I stole that from “Modern Family” on TV.
She laughed her head off.
I’ve had real difficulty finding 38special ammo lately.
But, that aside, the Ruger LCR is a great little pocket or purse pistol
Nothing says “I love you” like guns and ammo.
(If only I had a man in my life who loved me that much)
And properly cared for they retain their value over the years.
I have a 55 year old rifle that has kept pace with inflation and is worth slightly more today than when my dad got it for me all those many years ago. Are many purchases you can say that about.
i once received one for Christmas... there are ways you could make it personable, romantic... sexy...
The last thing I'd give my wife is a gun, but it really doesn't matter, because I lost a dozen or more of my guns during the great canoe sinking of '09.
But, if there are any more around, she would know where they are.
Do tell!
Mrs. Alaska sounds like a self-sufficient woman. LOL.
