Nothing says BOSSY like trying to ban a *bleeping* word you don't like. Another reason nobody can pay me to eat Girl Scout cookies anymore.

All of the women in this campaign, in high-ranking leadership positions, who want to ban 'bossy' because they were called 'bossy' and being called 'bossy' prevents women from reaching high-ranking leadership pos . . .
Umm. Something's not right here.

Can the word “empowered” be retired, already? I’m so sick of it.

What is sad it this “grassroots” campaign is sooooo f...ing transparent and our public is soooo stupid they will never put one and one together...
...We seem to be living in the land of 1984 doublethink. .but for it to work you need a public with an IQ range of 19 to 84...and thanks to the lefts public schools/media monopoly..we have a general public that stupid..sheeple

Nice of ABC and its reporter to provide Sandberg's message verbatim.
I mean, another journalist could've questioned the premise that banning a group from using a word will somehow empower another group.
A less enlightened reporter might've found an expert who considers the idea ridiculous & dictatorial and quoted them in their article.

I've witnessed a paradox in the workplace several times now. That being strong powerful women who fire other women for being lacking in performance.
The fired employee wants to sue someone........anyone? No sexist dismissals leave a woman scorned.

Bossiness is not a good thing. It means ‘’overly authoritative; domineering.’’
Being a bossy little girl is worse than being a fat little girl because fatness is a victimless condition, while bossiness hurts those who are being domineered over.
Fat little girls should be helped to become healthier and slimmer, while bossy little girls should be helped to become gentler and more respectful leaders of other children.
Unfortunately, the nine-year-old Sheryl Sandberg was never helped to become gentler and more respectful of others, and now in her adulthood she’s gone beyond mere bossiness into totalitarianism by going on a rampage to expunge a perfectly good word from the English language.
Like Lady MacBeth hysterically trying to wipe the blood off her hands, Sheryl Sandberg seems to be trying to wipe the word ‘’bossy’’ from the world’s dictionaries so she won’t have to remember what an insufferable little girl she must have been to her classmates.
