"Video of that confrontation spread on the Internet, along with blog commentary claiming excessive government force and calls to arms from self-described militia leaders. Some have invoked references to deadly confrontations with federal authorities, including a siege of a ranch home in Ruby Ridge, Idaho, in 1992 and the fiery destruction of a religious compound near Waco, Texas, that killed 76 people in 1993."

Too lazy (or ideological and/or corrupt) to look for practical, common sense solutions for real problems of land, environment, ILLEGAL immigration, economics, education, defense, and every aspect of existence the government is slouching toward that crisis that Lincoln talked about that must be reached and passed to fix the house divided problem of two Americas.

Copied from Facebook/The Modern American Revolution page:

Why Clive Bundy isn't WRONG.

There have been a lot of people criticizing Clive Bundy because he did not pay his grazing fees for 20 years. The public is also probably wondering why so many other cowboys are supporting Mr. Bundy even though they paid their fees and Clive did not. What you people probably do not realize is that on every rancher's grazing permit it says the following: "You are authorized to make grazing use of the lands, under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Land Management and covered by this grazing permit, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this grazing permit and payment of grazing fees when due." The "mandatory" terms and conditions go on to list the allotment, the number and kind of livestock to be grazed, when the permit begins and ends, the number of active or suspended AUMs (animal units per month), etc. The terms and conditions also list specific requirements such as where salt or mineral supplements can be located, maximum allowable use of forage levels (40% of annual growth), etc., and include a lot more stringent policies that must be adhered to. Every rancher must sign this "contract" agreeing to abide by the TERMS AND CONDITIONS before he or she can make payment. In the early 90s, the BLM went on a frenzy and drastically cut almost every rancher's permit because of this desert tortoise issue, even though all of us ranchers knew that cow and desert tortoise had co-existed for a hundred+ years. As an example, a family friend had his permit cut by 90%. For those of you who are non ranchers, that would be equated to getting your paycheck cut 90%. In 1976 there were approximately 52 ranching permittees in this area of Nevada. Presently, there are 3. Most of these people lost their livelihoods because of the actions of the BLM. Clive Bundy was one of these people who received extremely unfair and unreasonable TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Keep in mind that Mr. Bundy was required to sign this contract before he was allowed to pay. Had Clive signed on the dotted line, he would have, in essence, signed his very livelihood away. And so Mr. Bundy took a stand, not only for himself, but for all of us. He refused to be destroyed by a tyrannical federal entity and to have his American liberties and freedoms taken away. Also keep in mind that all ranchers financially paid dearly for the forage rights those permits allow - - not rights to the land, but rights to use the forage that grows on that land. Many of these AUMS are water based, meaning that the rancher also has a vested right (state owned, not federal) to the waters that adjoin the lands and allow the livestock to drink. These water rights were also purchased at a great price. If a rancher cannot show beneficial use of the water (he must have the appropriate number of livestock that drinks and uses that water), then he loses that water right. Usually water rights and forage rights go hand in hand. Contrary to what the BLM is telling you, they NEVER compensate a rancher for the AUMs they take away. Most times, they tell ranchers that their AUMS are "suspended," but not removed. Unfortunately, my family has thousands of "suspended" AUMs that will probably never be returned. And so, even though these ranchers throughout the course of a hundred years invested thousands(and perhaps millions) of dollars and sacrificed along the way to obtain these rights through purchase from others, at a whim the government can take everything away with the stroke of a pen. This is the very thing that Clive Bundy single-handedly took a stand against. Thank you, Clive, from a rancher who considers you a hero.

I watched a lot of this on Fox News, and everytime whoever it was reporting, mainly LaJuenesse. continually referred to the CITIZENS as the Militia and the Gestapo Agents from the Bureau of Property Control as ‘Law Enforcement” even as they were Rustling his Cattle, which used to be a Hanging Offence. For some reason this asswipe was getting his panties all bunched up because Private Citizens dared to do the the exact same thing that the Jack Booted Gestapo Agents from the Bureau of Property Control were doing, mainly Pointing their Firearms at the ENEMY.

CONGRESS CAN STOP THIS OVERNIGHT, and they should bring the head of this rogue agency before them to explain their actions, then JAIL the entire bunch and shut down this Agency run by the Gestapo.

"After 20 years and multiple court orders to remove the trespass cattle, [rancher Cliven] Bundy owes the American taxpayers in excess of $1 million...

How much property tax has the BLM paid to the taxpayers of the State of Nevada in the last 20 years? They are American taxpayers, too.

And is the BLM going to pay back the American taxpayers the millions they just burned due to their lack of common sense?

Harry Reid has replaced the mafia in Nevada. First Solar thrives in Toledo, Ohio via subsidies obtained by democrat Marcy Kaptor. The solar agenda has lost taxpayers millions if not billions of dollars, but dems are doubling down it nevertheless:

First Solar FSLR Securities Stock Fraud

Class Period: Apr-30-08 to Feb-28-12

The complaint alleges violations of federal securities laws, Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5, including allegations of issuing a series of material or false misrepresentations to the market which had the effect of artificially inflating the market price during the Class Period, which is April 30, 2008 through February 28, 2012.

I’m going to take an unpopular position here just because....

bottom line, removing all the emotion out of the subject and just looking at one simple fact, Hasn’t Bundy been breaking the law for 20 years or am I missing something?

Everything the Democrats do is a tactic, a design to establish another source of funding, as well another binding relationship for their nefarious goals. We know they will be back after the upcoming election, because they have their eyes on a huge monetary resource to not only skim funding for their political purposes, but to establish a precedence in a binding relationship with a Marxist ally for additional resources that will add to their funding in the future. It’s also what the ACA is all about, funding, and control. We can see it in their relationship with PP as well.

Democrats are like an open book. It’s a matter of getting enough people that want their freedom, their America to read the book, and reject it outright.

The weak link is Reid corruption being exposed. The Bundy Ranch siege turned the soil, I have a bunch of new leads beyond just the Rory Reid solar deal. Will keep everyone updated here at FreeRepublic and on Twitter @daxtonbrown
Also ongoing updates here: http://www.futurnamics.com/reid_bundyranch.php

Could use some legal people to look at Reid ownership of Searchlight land. Looks like he bought it for $2.50 an acre in 1973 as mining patents. Links to the assessor land records are at the web link.

Looks like Harry Reid’s plot was exposed and he and the BALM were afraid that the patriots we’re not going to back down.

I suspect BLM and FIB agents were concerned about being shot.

The way to end this is to put all the spot light on Reid and his shenanigans. Ever time Harry moves, have a camera on him, bring up ever shady deal he’s ever done and don’t let up, have reporters hang out near his home and his son’s home. Time to turn the tables on these scum bags.

Of course they do...Is anyone surprised...

Bundy will, and has lawyered up...

I would recommend he seek damages compounded on a 24 hour cumulative period for the value of his lost property till the government cuts him a check, or returns said property...

And those that stole them, directly, or gave the order need to be indicted and given their day in court to defend their illegalities...

It’s only fair...

Now, the real trick is to see who has the cajones to stand up and take it to them, and be unapologetic about it...

If anything the Bundy’s need to keep it clean and free of ANY issues that could be used against them in the future...By the BLM, Feds, or the media (most of all)...

The court of conservative public opinion is on their side right now...But as we have seen in so many cases in the past...That support waivers if those people lose interest, or the media manages to successfully cover for these agencies and their employees...

Just my initial legal opinion...

It seems to me that Bundy now has abundant grounds to file a suit of his own. He has lost before but the issue was his action toward the BLM, non payment of fees.

He now has grounds for a suit to settle the basic issue....does BLM own the land and have the legal right to enforce grazing rights

That early video part was entertaining if not disgusting to watch. Somebody has to be regreting sending out the cityboy brownshirts with their dogs. It didn’t occur to the resident dumbass that all cowboys have dogs also, usually more than one. And a good cow dog is hell on coyotes. While I love german shepards those would have been no match for a couple of PO’d cowdogs who would have seen the shepards as coyotes most likely. That whole deal would have turned into a real rodeo if just a couple of cowdogs had showed up.

Speaking of dumbasses I noticed that the chick who runs the local BLM stayed under her desk until all the cows were turned loose. Looked like she was letting a BLM cityprick be the front guy so’s she could stay clean with the local folks——typical gummint “spread-the-blame” tactic.
