Thanks for laying that all out so clearly & damningly. You connected some dots I hadn’t realized were a part of the picture. Now I agree with you. Benghazi scares them cross-eyed. I’m so glad Gowdy & not Issa is in charge. May he get to the absolute bottom of it, & may all the guilty parties pay in full.

Bethea, along with some of the soldiers interviewed by CNN, say they were forced to sign non-disclosure agreements against disclosing information about Bergdahls capture or the rescue efforts
a highly unusual measure that the Examiner recalls was also employed after Benghazi. "forced to sign non-disclosure agreements" is the new code word for "cover up orchestrated from the top". By definition, ordering government officials or employees after the fact to sign a legal document forbidding them to discuss the events is a cover up. You cannot tell me the details of this guy deserting is a national security secret. And if it was it would be classified, no NDA required. This is all about hiding the truth, plain and simple.
If Nixon did this, he'd have been hounded out of office... oh wait, he was and he never did this much.

I think this actually feeds into the VA scandal and even Benghazi.
Consider this a formal invitation to elaborate on FR.
What is the administration hyping? “We leave no man behind.” They have no problem leaving our veterans behind, they had no problem leaving the Benghazi four behind; what's so freaking special about this guy?
BTW, when I'm on my phone with the itty bitty keyboard, I tend to be rather circumspect in my posts. On the computer, though, it's much easier, and sometimes I'll go back and elaborate.

That is interesting - didn't his dad speak perfect Arabic at the news conference?
What language do the Taliban speak?

Obama simply did not want to put pressure on Democrats in Congress to vote for the prisoner exchange because he knew that it would jeopardize the November election and he didn’t want to face the humiliation of being voted against by members of his own party.

You mean that he would only have had to notify Congress of his intention to release Gitmo prisoners? Wouldn’t a prisoner exchange be the same as a treaty, requiring Senate approval?

It’s covered by statute that Congress approved - with the 30 day advance notification proviso.

Good afternoon.
Frankly, I don’t know who is more dangerous, the 5 Taliban terrorists, or the Muslim in the White House.

LISTEN CAREFULLY... There are NO game changers when it comes to this administration...
NOTHING WILL COME OF THIS! Who is going to hold the administration/Obama accountable?
Obama could declare martial law and that he is a dictator and he would still garner a 40% approval...

In all of the scandals during Bush’s eight years, how many died in them? And how many have died in all of the scandals, so far, during the short time obama has been in office? That list is sure to grow unless he’s impeached AND imprisoned, SOON!

Additionally, I'm willing to bet that a huge sum of money was sent their way. Gives Barky's "Cash for Clunkers" program a new--and far more accurate--meaning.
