I read the text at your link and disagree. Islamic taqqiyah is completely diferent from "falsehood taught by Christians and Jews".

Your article cites Jewish theologians to the effect that lying is permitted to prevent killing and to make peace. Islamic permissable lying knows few bounds and is directed at non-believers only.

There is no comparison.
