Actually smoked bees do sting.

They merely become docile. After the smoke the bees gorge themselves on honey in case they need to flee and reestablish a new home. The honey stored in their gut is like money sewed into the lining of clothing.

If the smoked bees are handled roughly, they will attack the clumsy bee keepre that riled them

We declared war on Poverty. Poverty won.
We declared war on Drugs. Drugs won.
We declared war on Terrorism. Terrorism is worse than ever.
We need to pick our enemies a lot more carefully.................

States should ban it

Exactly! And then they should:

* seize the assets of those who possess it, and without due process
* bust into people's houses with no-knock raids
* subject innocent people to police checkpoints
* make innocent people turn over urine, hair & saliva samples to the Government

Because all of that + wasting billions of dollars has proven successful so far, right?

I’m tired of paying taxes to watch cops shred the constitution so they can protect fools from their folly. Let those who want to, smoke what they want. I simply don’t care to run interference for jackasses.

It’s obvious to any that still cares....
Washington D.C. is in a marijuana haze....
The entire Federal Givernment is high...

And those that “don’t” use stronger and more dangerous drugs..
The War on Drugs is a cartoon... always was...

It was once legal. Until people started getting the vapors about the possibilities of negro jazz musicians having relations with white women under the influence of the demon weed.

When it was legal, we didn't have a cradle to grave welfare state that supports a permanent underclass at a standard of living comparable to a 1970's middle-class lifestyle.

I understand that many pot smokers hold down jobs, live responsibly, call themselves libertarians, and even, in a few instances, vote Republican. But I also live in the city, and understand that pot is the primary food group for the human wreckage that collectively constitutes the social problem.

I'd be happy to experiment with legalization of pot if we also got rid of the welfare state. But the two together are a bad combination.

In my 60 years on earth, I never met a doper I could trust.

Not one.

Which has come about despite the illegality of marijuana.

I don't see how the defects of alcohol disqualify it as "a self-medicating comfort mechanism in the face of stress or discomfort."

Drinkers get angry and riot while pot heads are functionally wards of the state with no sting. Limousine liberals aim to pacify the envious mob, with drugs if necessary.

I agree. I have relatives who are dopers. They are always in debt, always wanting to borrow money and taking forever to pay back friends in bits. Even though their income is $5K a month from a settlement, or was before they borrowed large chunks from future payments that already arrived, they are always in debt.

Gotta get more. Now they have to get their pot, but they also want pills now.

“How is individual liberty not sensible and patriotic?”

Because in the world I live in, people that get high get people killed.

There is a reason why the military still has a zero tolerance policy on illegal drugs — People who use them make stupid, unpredictable, and unreliable decisions and cause other people to die.

Maybe you want to place your life in the hands of some ignorant little pot head responsible for sending you off the end of an Aircraft Carrier, or calling in close air support, or emergency evac...I do not.

They’ve found a way to put it in e-cigs.

Much to my horror, a guy I was talking to at a biker event last weekend was cheerfully getting stoned and I didn’t know it until he offered me some.

Fricking idiot.

Because being drunk on two wheels is not quite stupid enough.

Plus, he had his wife on the back.

If he only takes himself out of the gene pool, I would not care.

A stoned populace is a pacifist populace.

Drugged sheep are easy to herd.

Every doper I have ever known screwed me over one way or another. 0% batting average is pretty bad.

Because for 3 generations now, getting onto the 4th, the majority of each generation has smoked it illegally at least for a couple of years if not good chunks of their lives, then went on to have normal productive lives. And finally there’s enough of them that know the government lies to turn the tide against laws that never should have happened in the first place.
