Jumping Jeffords might have been a big Crayon Pop fan.... does anyone know if he wore a helmet all the time?

Prayers for a misguided soul.
How surprising that the boatload of money he made by sleeping with the democrat party didn’t let him live forever.
RIP! Your dead voter card is in the mail! Please check all boxes pertaining to your dead voter status!
He spoke at my graduation in ‘82.
No more boring a man has ever walked the earth.
Jumpin Jim, jumps no more..
Jumpin’ Jim Jeffords, the Vermont Dairy Queen..... RIP. The man responsible for changing the Senate majority without American voters having any say in the matter.
Cf. Thad Cochran.
I think he is finding that at the pearly gates you are either a sinner or not. No Independents with alignment with Satan are permitted inside
The Earth’s gain is Hell’s loss.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
I shall never think of him without hearing that annoying music from a Frogger machine playing in my head.
Now he’s been added to my list of favorite liberals.
Mama always said that of you cannot say something good about someone, then say nothing at all.
OK.
What was his payoff to make the switch?
I fear a repeat of this in early 2015 if all the GOP gets is an under 7 Senate seat gain. If it is a single seat majority like in 2000, a single switch keeps Harry Reid in control and there is very little, if anything, that the Democrats would not do get get such a switch. Remember, a 5 seat GOP Gain means 50-50 parity and Joe Biden sticks a fork in all votes as President of the Senate. 6 Seats and a full-court Democrat push for a ‘Jeffords!’ 7 seats is breathing room!
Ordinarily, I’d worry about Maine’s Susan Collins who, like Jeffords, is a very liberal Republican and her fellow Maine Senator is Angus King, a Democrat caucusing Independent. However since she is running as a Republican in this cycle, she is unlikely to do such an abrupt switch. And, if there is a 7 seat GOP gain, Senator King has already said that he would consider caucusing with the GOP - making NOMINALLY 8 seat gain.
Still, the dangers are such that it is almost required for the GOP to win by more than a 6 seat switch in order to have victory. Scary that we could repeat 2000 and end up with ashes!
Not new news here. He’s been dead to me for some time
I was hoping that he died all over again.....
His voting record was horrible down the line, even when Vermont still voted Republican for president.
