Agreed. GA is moving Left even faster than CO. By 2020, it will be Blue. One word ... demographics.Oh look! Concern Troll has it in for Georgia, too! WHY is Concern Troll allowed to post on this forum?

Maybe we should send Charlie Daniels to GA to do a little campaigning...he’s a conservative...not fond of Obama. Check him out on twitter.

I think the Republican Leadership is morally bankrupt, lacking the courage of OUR convictions.

“Politicus USA” is not a legitimate news site - it is a far left-wing blog graphically designed to look like a news site - and if you look for news in google, it pops up as a news site with the latest headlines. So keep that in mind. That said, the poll is still a concern, of course.

That’s a very good point...some saying this is evidence the state is moving “toward” the Democrats - it was not very long ago they would have voted for a Nunn or Carter by default in overwhelming majorities. Now you have both a Nunn and a Carter running for the two stop spots at the same time, and both races are competitive and Republicans may win not one, but both.

I'm not too thrilled with Perdue, but I could see where his campaign has accepted that there will be a runoff and is only doing what is absolutely necessary to prevent Nunn from reaching a majority and saving as much money as they can for the runoff. If Perdue is already conceding that there may be a runoff, then he's already lost.
The actual Perdue chickens has more guts than he does.

I guess that’s the one you are talking about? Looks like with her they are going for the “cute” approach with the ads...that can be effective if it doesn’t cause the message to be lost...that ad is probably somewhere in between. The ads with the serious music and serious narration may be cliché but are likely much more effective...this ad may be designed to keep some people from immediately being able to tell what it is and hitting mute like some people do - maybe just trying to “mix it up”, but I’m not familiar with the other ads that may be saturating the airwaves there to know.

Not really. IIRC Saxby Chambliss didn't get a plurality the last time around, ended up getting close to 60% in the runoff.
Every campaign runs itself according to assumptions. And whether those assumptions are correct is only apparent in hindsight.
Risk has a lot to do with it. With that Libertarian in the race, it's darn hard to get to 50%+1. So it's risky to blow money to get an extra few points, still only get to 49% and find out you're in a run off and then have to spend the first days of that run off replenishing funds.
Nunn, if what I'm seeing is right, is actually rolling the dice on a clean win. Given that the Libertarian is actually drawing some votes from her as well, that's incredibly risky. The GA candidates may end up on election night with Nunn ahead, but out of money, with Purdue behind but capable of sustaining full operations starting the next morning.

Important distinction: "Fraudulent Voters---Election Fraud" Nice circumlocution R/HO.
========================================
An earlier K/B post showed what we're up against.
<><><>If 60% of eligible voters are registered, and 50% of those actually vote, the 10% difference .... millions of votes ... easily becomes the basis for national fraud.
<><><>Then, by illegally registering those who do not have the right to vote ... illegal aliens among them ... the Democrats improve their chances greatly. Still, not one (1) Republican voice raised against vote fraud.
<><><>Low turnout + a huge pool of unregistered potential voters = an environment in which fraud can easily carry the day. Example: the Democrats often create Republican registrations for the main purpose of voting in primaries, which are often decided by mere hundreds of votes in very low turnout elections. Some primaries turn out as low as 10% or less of eligible voters!
<><><>Sad Results of the Totally Scientific Kenny Bunk VFW Bar Poll: Half of the "Conservative" vote .... oddly enough it seems the the loudest half ... can be found on the couch on election day.

Get out and vote, get your friends to vote. I don’t want any more Bushes in public office, and I darn sure don’t want any more Clintons, Carters, or Nunns. Vote to stop this multi-generational silliness.

Oh CRAP. You are RIGHT. This website is Politicus USA, which is run by a weenie who's very upset that Obama is so far to the right.
And also, he's extremely upset Obama follows so many laws.

I saw that in early voting African-American participation was way up. Looks like they are focused on getting out the vote for Nunn.
