BTTT!
Here is Jonathan Gruber, who got $400K as an Obamacare architect, contradicting himself on the Halbig decision.
This has clips of him lying on the Chris Matthews show Hardball, and with Gruber lecturing, this time using the truth, at a conference.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbD5iQQS5KA
Its a minute thirty seconds
Gruber begins his remarks at around 14:30. His comments regarding transparency and tortuousness are at about 20:30. He makes a comment about a “time bomb” of costs rising to 17% of income at 23:15. Snarky comment about putting prozac in the water at 28:06.
Video is still rolling. I’ll post the times if anything juicy comes along.
38:00 - 39:20
Both panelists are central planning commies. Grubers “opposition” seems to think HMO’s are competitive free enterprise, they are cartels.
He makes a comment about a time bomb of costs rising to 17% of income at 23:15.
That one is a real peach. 17% of income for health insurance!? That would be the end of any discretionary spending for all but the very well off. Subsistence living for the majority.
17% is insane
Wildly insane IMO yet I think they mean it and I suspect they intend for it to kill off the middle class.
That;s all he got.WOW
I forwarded the link to Drudge. Let’s see what happens.
and this is what they call “affordable”?

Gruber says it could be the “stupidity of the American voter” and that they needed to obfuscate because it would not have passed were the funding mechanisms transparent (and scored by the CBO as new taxes). But the truth is that only one political party passed this law, they did it by turning over long held Congressional customs and practices, and by rushing it through a lame duck session before they would lose their majority. It is perfectly fair to attack its weaknesses and challenge it in court. A good bill would withstand those challenges.
As an ironic aside, most already know: they said it was not a tax so they could pass it, until they needed to say it was a tax so that the court could uphold it.
It looks like the second video in this story is NOW going VIRAL. Daily Caller picked it up AFTER this story and a couple of hours ago, The Blaze also featured it. Check Rush in a few minutes because I won’t be surprised if he plays it and talks about it. Sean too.
The video has now been pulled by the user. They’re trying to cover up their fraud on the American people.
This is confirmed in the comments. Du D asks, "WHERE THE OLD VIDEO??" zerotolerance4u replies, "I think they want to hide when this video was first available to the public." In any case, a quick google is all that's needed to find out when it was.
Someone else alleged that they elided some of Gruber's more obnoxious boasts but then retracts it.
I grabbed both versions. I'll have to check. According to QuickTime, both videos are 51m18s in length. The length on disk is similar: 158,629,844 bytes for old vs 159,011,947 for the new.
Wonder what game they're trying to play.
Notice that the link I posted was put up on Youtube today. I don’t know when the other one was first posted. It’s the same length as the old one.
I don't recall, but it was definitely in 2013, close to when the event was held.
I did a quick check, and the new posting does contain Gruber's obnoxious remarks, starting at about 20m24s, right after he finished with the "Cadillac tax".
