"Bye-bye Obamacare! The Supreme Court will be taking up the King vs Burwell case (very similar to Halbig vs Burwell). The plaintiff asserts that the text of the PPACA (aka Obamacare) only associates subsidies with Section 1311 (State Exchanges) not Section 1321 (Partnership and Federal Exchanges). If the court rules in favor of the plaintiff, subsidies for plans on federal exchanges will be discontinued. If the federal exchanges no longer offer subsidies, all enrollees will be obliged to pay the market rate on insurance which has increased significantly under Obamacare. Since the individual mandate and associated IRS penalties are waived if coverage costs more than 8% of the household income, the enforcement mechanism for Obamacare disappears. This ruling is why I led the charge in Michigan to oppose our adoption of State-based or State Partnership exchanges. While we await our "Get out of Obamacare free card", we need to promote the implementation of my Patient-Centered Care Solution featuring Direct Primary Care Services so that our citizens will truly have access to affordable, high-quality care. This only happens when we keep the government from meddling in the doctor-patient relationship."

Supreme Court cannot be counted on to protect the constitution; they change it every time they meet. Relying on a council of elders to right wrongs is ridiculous.
Supreme Court members need to be term limited. There should also be an override (supermajority) of Supreme Court decisions by congress.

Five reasons why I think they won't: Sotomayor, Ginsburg, Kagan, Breyer, Roberts.

If it sinks this way ...it will forever be the best...Republicans are on record opposing it ...but if it dies in court no one can legitimately point an accusatory finger at them

If Christie doesn’t answer after a sufficient period, I will. In the meantime, be assured that your question is eminently answerable.

The Supreme Court follows the election returns. And in the original Irish from Peter Finley Dunne:

""No matther whether th’ constitution follows h’ flag or not, th’ Supreme Coort follows th’ election returns” wrote Finley Peter Dunne (1867-1936) in 1901, through his comic character Mr. Dooley."

Or at least Chief Justice John Roberts does.

I like this Robert’s quote “It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices.”

The law is worded such that it states a clear intent (whether actually intended or not) and once again Roberts can not protect us and should rule accordingly.....thus killing the dam thing

By a party now out of power and despised by the populace.

and...

By this time whatever he was being blackmailed with is likely known by the Republicans. Sure the GOPe wants Obamacare, but Trey Gowdy and Ted Cruz?

Sometimes blackmail material has an expiration date.

Apparently, Christie does not intend to reply. Your question was short, so I'll respond briefly, although there is much that could be said.

Often, God delays in granting a prayer in order for the event to ripen, or for other events to occur first, or to give the person praying an opportunity to exercise her faith first, or even after the first disappointment to modify the prayer itself or the prayer's attitude. He knows--we don't.

It is unlikely that God will "change his mind" on this issue. He has complete fore-knowledge and is never surprised.

But He may change His initial answer. It is often true that He eventually answers affirmatively prayers which He originally answered "No" or "Not yet." Jesus addressed this issue directly more than once. For example:

* He urged us to pray persistently: "ask, seek, and knock," where the Greek verb tense indicates "Ask and keep on asking, seek and keep on seeking, knock and keep on knocking." (Matthew 7:7-12)

* His parable of the unjust judge:
"Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’ “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’” And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:1-8)
