So; football trumps politics; eh?...some of us think for Christie politics is trumping football - that he's courting a team in Texas because he's mining for primary votes there and taking the votes of fans of local Jersey teams in Philly and New York for granted - and since Jersey comes late in the primary cycle, trying to pick up votes which might come earlier on - and we wonder if he's able to shift loyalties on something like that, what else might he shift on - what promises and values might turn out to be expendable once he gets in office - and then he compounds the problem beyond football by gratuitously dissing the fans in Philadelphia (many by now in Jersey) by comparing them negatively to those in Green Bay - what profiteth a man to gain the world but lose his state base????.....
