The birther story died in the summer of 2008. Any reporting in October would have (and was) met with a yawn.

The run in 2007 (not 2008) made the final blow-off bubble inevitable. The popping of the commodity bubble in the summer of 2008 did in Lehman in Sept. The next to last runs were on Washington Mutual and Wachovia, two of the more corrupted banks. The final run was utterly predictable (e.g. http://www.forbes.com/2008/10/01/goldman-morgan-run-oped-cx_nr_1002roubini.html) so there's no need to speculate on who started it. We started it ourselves with the Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000 https://theamericanscholar.org/too-bad-not-to-fail or maybe the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 and all other the other corporate liberalism in between.
Funny, until mid-October (when Obama also happened to go visit his Grandma who until then had been fine and who shortly thereafter ended up dead) the judge in Phil Berg’s case wasn’t calling the “birther” story dead. He was very much acting like Obama was in trouble - until he did a 180-degree turnaround shortly after Obama suddenly visited his Grandma.
The “birther” story was so “dead” at that point that Rush Limbaugh mentioned all those things on his show for the first time. It was also so “dead” that Andy Martin was on Hannity’s show talking about it as well as about Obama’s communist-Islamist connections/origins (which Fox then apologized about profusely and tried to undo what had been done). From that point on, the regime’s war on Fox was publicly-known, and their hounding of Hannity was intense.
Unless you’ve looked at an exact timeline of pertinent events you have no clue how ALIVE the eligibility issue was right at that time. We know that threats were made to the media heads because the on-air personalities and others who were at these meetings have given statements about it. STRANGE threat to make, over an issue that was supposedly dead.
I know way too much to accept what you’re saying about that. But even somebody who just closely watched what was happening at that time knows you’re talking baloney about this. Sort of like the “conservative brethren” I mentioned in the post to which you’re responding - always claiming the “birther stuff” is sheer craziness that would never have gotten anywhere. I know some of the crimes committed to try to make sure it never got anywhere, so that BS doesn’t cut it for me. Considering what I’m dealing with right now, it’s laughable that somebody who doesn’t know jack thinks they can all make it go away by simply re-writing history.
The breakdown of the US economy had been a communist project for a long time, true. The Cloward-Piven Plan had been weakening the economy, at the hands of the Saudi-funded and Ayers-orchestrated Harvard lawyer from Kenya (Obama) in his only lawyerly work. The only reason a run on the bank could wreak such havoc is because the economy had already been brought to the brink because of the Cloward-Piven Plan. Which Rush also mentioned shortly after the Sept run on the bank.
The Sept run on the bank was so predictable that nobody did anything to prevent it, and investors who knew better were burned anyway. George Soros had asked both Obama and Hillary during the primary season if they were behind his plans to destroy the US economy, and at the same time our intel in the mid-East was warning of an imminent economic attack. Which shouldn’t even have been necessary aaccording to your theory, since everybody supposedly knew the “final blow-off bubble” was not only expected but “inevitable”.

He is performing the tasks outlined for him, (tasks designed to destroy our Country from within), by his masters to perfection. They were warned by the Globalist’s PTB: ‘We will let you guys keep your silly little radio and TV shows, you can continue to bash Democrats as usual BUT..........you will NOT go into the muslim thing or ineligibility issues. We took out a US President once....remember that....and then remember that you and/or your families, uh, ‘accidents’ would be child’s play for our outfit to arrange’. So for the most part they have obeyed. (A ‘slip’ here or there from ‘em but no sustained daily serious attacks). George Soros involvement should never be minimized by anyone either. He has been at the forefront for years.
The 2 things not allowed to be reported on: Obama’s ineligibility (the fact that he is a foreign enemy combatant), and his Muslim leanings (the fact of who owns him and for what purpose they are putting him in office).
EVERYTHING this criminal in office has done shows us why they had to hide those 2 facts. If the American public had fully realized either of those things, even the promise of EBT cards to the walking brainless would not have been enough to keep the ENTIRE SYSTEM quiet while a known enemy was given the position of Commander-in-Chief.
It was CRITICAL that the alarms going off at that time be silenced. What is really, really sad is that the “conservative brothers” sold this country for such a pathetically low price - simply for not having to be ridiculed as a “birther”. Beyond disgusting. The talk show hosts had their families’ lives at stake, but the peons like you and me - all we had at stake (at least at that time) was our pride and reputation, and that was the putrid puny price at which most of us were bought off.
At the most critical point, ten righteous people were not found in Sodom. And that included within Lot’s household. Nothing is new under the sun.

The collapse was inevitable. The timing of various attacks could certainly have been timed. The only thing I would disagree with was that the collapse could have been averted forever if there had not been some particular financial attack (don't know if you implied that or not). The financial system would have crumbled and the large banks destroyed and it would have been mainly good in the long run. Instead we got TARP and a financial system that is still a pile of crap, big banks that are even bigger. Thanks to the timing we picked up Obama instead of McCain but McCain is a lunatic and would probably be lobbing nukes by now or in a straightjacket.
In the end, the birhers contributed nothing to the effort to stop Obama. But with a candidate like McCain that is probably no surprise.
