Quite so ... It's one thing when some darn white, male, Christian, tea-partyin', gun-totin', bitterly Bible-clingin', racist, sexist, homophobic right wing radical says it.

It's quite another when an outright socialist says "government is your god!"

And there it is ... idolatry in the modern world has little or nothing to do with statues, or Babylonian deities, or dancing around the sacred tree in the forest. We're much more sophisticated than that ...
