Thanks. After digging into this the best writeup I found was from the Daily Mail-—with good color photos-—and I see also that Westbrook was 101 Airborne.

The most tawdry element in this tale was having CID creeps going through his trash. What were they planning next-—accuse Swenson of buying bomb components at Radio Shack to blow up the artillery?

I sure hope that his not being a ring knocker was a non-factor in all of this.
