I could see Barry preferring a Republican President to Hillary. The Republican would be leery of going after Barry and his Chicago buddies after the election. Hillary, on the other hand, would suffer little blowback from purging the Chicago people and having her new Attorney General go after them.

It would have been more to the point to say that the only person who could take the Democratic nomination away from Hillary Clinton is Hillary Clinton. She can lose it, but nobody else is going to take it away from her. That wouldn't get a laugh, though.
Hillary is an awful campaigner, and she's not as experienced and tested as she pretends, but Michelle Obama doesn't even seem to be playing the same sport, let alone playing the same game.
