Pre 9/11 I walked into Reagan International with my Sebenza clipped on my jeans pocket. The security guard stopped me and said what is that? And I said, I’m sorry I forgot I was wearing it. So she said I’ll hold it for you, and then she opened it and couldn’t figure out how to close it. I went and got grandma and when I came back there she was holding it still open. If I did that today I’d get taken to the ground.

I always carry a knife.

When my cuz died, brother found one of his switch blades.
He could not figure out how to close it either LOL.
He called me and I walked him through it.

Simples.

I never understood why people freak out if a blade “Flicks open”

How is that scarier than drawing a fixed blade?

Part cultural. Part pyschological, like racking a pump action shotgun.

Fixed blade knives over a certain length are illegal to carry in public in most places.

I ate at the Bavarian Grill in Plano last night. Plenty of chicks and beer there.

In England they have people using 3” paring knives to break down a hog.

William Wallace is pissed!

So is the fear of "black" guns, but it's still there.

I can’t imagine hunting driven deer. Seems dangerous.

I’ve been on a driven pheasant hunt once, didn’t like it either.

Yupper

And I tell people to not point out how illogical the hoplophobes are.

If you point out tha Peepahs shotgun and hunting rifle are bad ass compared to the AR15, they will want those banned too.

I’ve eaten there a few times. Good stuff!

They have roasted leg of lamb at the Bavarian Grill as well. It’s kind of a springtime specialty.
